Topshop Spring Favourites | What’s on my wish list?

[pipdig_padded_text]

Topshop is by far one of my favourite high street shops right now and pretty much most of my spring wardrobe wish list is all from Topshop! This weekend (Thursday – Sunday) Topshop have a “Spend now and save on your next purchase” offer, whereby if you spend £75, you get £15 off your next purchase. So today I will be sharing my Topshop spring favourites to give you some spring wardrobe inspo!

1. Satin pyjama style shirt

This gorgeous tan coloured number has been all over the Internet over the past few months, and I can’t help loving it. I pretty much live in shirts in spring and I love the bold print of this shirt. This comes in a pyjama style which looks great tucked into a pair of high waisted black jeans for a laid-back-but-still-put-together vibe. It keeps going in and out of stock on the Topshop website so it’s worth keeping an eye on the page! (I also found this in stock in *all* sizes in the Topshop Marble Arch store recently. Available here.

2. Wide striped shirt

My spring wardrobe is made up of probably too many shirts (can you ever have enough cute shirts though?) and this bright coral wide striped shirt is one that I’d love to add to my wardrobe. The colour, striped pattern and adorable tortoiseshell buttons means this shirt has SPRING written all over it! Available here.

3. Linear floral ruffle blouse

This is another shirt that keeps going in and out of stock on the Topshop website, however if you do come across your size then it is absolutely worth it! I styled this shirt in a recent post (here) and I can honestly say that this is one of the most beautiful shirts that I own. The floral embroidery, lace details and ruffles make this one of the loveliest tops currently available on the high street and for just £29 it’s an absolute steal! Available here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

4. MOTO Mid Blue Orson Slim Leg Jeans

Whilst I’m still a huge fan of the Topshop Jamie jeans (SO comfy and flattering), I sometimes like to change things up with a fair of slightly less skin-tight jeans. The Topshop Orson jeans are the perfect high-waisted slim leg jeans – they are sort of in between the Topshop Jamie jeans and the Topshop Mom jeans. They are structured yet still have a decent amount of stretch and this mid blue shade is perfect for the spring and summer months. Available here.

5. Rainbow Striped Knitted Top

Who doesn’t love a good rainbow striped top? This particular one from Topshop is perfect for adding some colour to your spring wardrobe and would look great worn under a pair of denim dungarees or a pair of high-waisted jeans. Available here.

6. Popper Utility Trousers

I don’t often stray away from a trusty pair of jeans, however these khaki utility trousers look so cool! The trousers come with a super soft finish and I love the flattering paper bag waist. Worn with a white bardot top or a bold orange shirt, this would make a great spring/summer outfit! Available here.

What has caught your eye on the Topshop website?

Keeping Warm on Cooler Spring Days | JD Williams

[pipdig_padded_text]

It may be the start of spring, but the weather’s not quite warmed up yet! As you can probably tell from the photos in this post that it’s been quite grey and windy lately – which made for the perfect excuse to wear some recent additions to my wardrobe from JD Williams.

One of which is by far the COSIEST jacket that I own![/pipdig_padded_text]
[pipdig_padded_text]

JD Williams is a website I only recently discovered, and I particularly love their fashion and accessories range although they also stock home, gifts and electricals. The website has a large number of big brands available including Levi’s , Coast and Clarks.

After having a browse through the coats and jackets section, I came across this Snowdonia Duck Down Padded Jacket in a bold cobalt blue shade – perfect for adding some colour to your wardrobe, especially in spring. I’ve never owned a down padded jacket before, and I was impressed at just how cosy and warm this is – without being weighty! It’s super lightweight and even comes with a small bag which it can pack into, which is great for travelling or hiking.

Because the jacket comes in such a bright cobalt blue colour, I prefer to wear this over a monochrome outfit to allow the colour to really pop.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

I don’t normally wear heels as I find flat shoes way too comfortable! However, as I was browsing the boots section on JD Williams, I came across the Lucy Side Zip Boots and loved the style of them, plus they looked pretty comfy too!

I couldn’t wait to see what they felt like on when I received my order and I was so pleased to discover that these boots are so so comfortable and I could easily wear these to work on a daily basis. Because the heel is so chunky (and not too high!) they are really wearable and don’t feel like you’re even wearing heels! They look really smart too and look great worn with skinny jeans or a skirt and a pair of tights. The boots come in a range of different widths – here I’ve got the standard fit, however they also come in a wide and an extra wide size.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Check out the full collection on JD Williams website for your perfect spring wardrobe.

The Perfect Spring Outfit | 5 Items Your Spring Wardrobe Needs

[pipdig_padded_text]

Ahhh, spring… my favourite time of year! And one of my favourite things about spring is the fashion. Pretty pastels, ditsy florals and all things frilly – I love the colourful and feminine vibe of spring fashion.

There are a lot of things that I love about dressing up in spring. Today I’ll be sharing 5 fashion essentials to complete your spring wardrobe.[/pipdig_padded_text] [pipdig_padded_text]

1. A pretty floral shirt

Nothing says SPRING more than a cute floral print. And as the weather starts to get warmer, a pretty floral shirt is the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe. I recently came across the spring shirt of DREAMS on the Topshop website, which has everything you could ever want in a spring shirt. It’s got the cutest floral embroidery detailing, frills, lace, ruffles, and three-quarter length sleeves that are perfect for warmer spring days, or layering up when it’s still a bit chilly. What more could you want!?[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

2. A  pink trench coat

Trench coats are great for spring. They’re the perfect layering piece over thin jumpers or shirts as the weather starts warming up. Although I love a classic stone-beige trench coat, this gorgeous dusky pink trench (a Primark bargain at just £14!) adds a lovely spring touch to any outfit. Trench coats are great for making an outfit look more smart with minimal effort, and give you a gorgeous, feminine silhouette, which is so flattering.

3. A pastel bag

Can you tell that I’m loving all-things-pastel this spring? A pastel bag is great for ‘springing up’ any outfit. Even if you’re wearing a monochrome outfit – add a pretty pastel case to instantly update your look. I picked up this dusky pink tote bag from Topshop last year. However, there are lots of similar bags available this year too – such as this on-trend buckle hobo bag or this pink cross body tote bag both of which I love. If you prefer a different pastel shade, you will love this pastel blue bucket bag or this flower-embellished mint cross body bag.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

4. A flattering pair of jeans

Admittedly, a pair of good-fitting jeans is a must-have all year round. However, I find that now is the perfect time to invest in a new pair of jeans for the upcoming spring/summer months. At this time of year, I like to go for a slightly thinner pair of jeans that I can wear through the upcoming warmer months. In this outfit, I am wearing my current favourite Topshop Authentic Blue Let Hem Jamie Jeans (similar here) which fit like a glove and are soooo very comfortable! As they are high-waisted ankle-grazers, they look great with a cute white shirt tucked in and a pair of spring-appropriate footwear, which brings me to…

5. A pair of ballerina pumps / loafers

Whilst I pretty much live in ankle boots throughout the autumn and winter, a comfortable pair of ballerina pumps or loafers are a must-have for me in spring. In this outfit, I’m wearing a pair of Miss KG gold ballerina pumps which I got from ASOS last year (similar here and here). ASOS also do an amazing pair of black leather loafers (#alltheguccivibes) which are smart, comfortable and look great worn with a pair of ankle grazer jeans or trousers throughout the spring.[/pipdig_padded_text]

The Cosiest Slippers You Will EVER Own from Celtic & Co.

[pipdig_padded_text]

No matter what time of year it is, I literally live in cosy slippers when I’m at home! There’s nothing I love more than changing out of my outdoor shoes and slipping into a pair of soft slippers that will keep my feet feeling nice and toasty.

When it comes to home slippers, I believe in investing in a good quality pair. It’s easy to be tempted to get a pair of cheap slippers that can be quite slippery (excuse the pun) and won’t last longer than a few months before falling apart. Celtic & Co. have a fantastic range of women’s sheepskin boots and slippers that are perfect for keeping your feet super cosy throughout the winter and the rest of the year.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

I recently got my hands on the Celtic & Co. best-selling Ladies’ Sheepskin Bootee Slippers in the cutest pink colour, and I have nothing but praise for these slippers!

The bootees (isn’t that the cutest word ever!?) are handmade in Cornwall using 100% premium quality British sheepskin.  The sheepskin is specially treated in order to make it machine washable, so you can pop them in the wash (using a specialist wash, such as the Celtic Wool Wash) to keep them looking as good as new. This is great as other sheepskin products that I own can only be hand-washed which is pretty time and energy consuming!

The bootees come in 10 different colours including the classic sheepskin chestnut colour, blue, berry, lilac and of course, pink. I can’t resist a bit of pastel pink, and was instantly drawn to the pink bootees! They look perfect for the upcoming spring season and go really nicely with my favourite fluffy pink dressing gown, as you can see in the photos.

Apart from looking great, the quality of the slippers feels exceptional, just as you would expect. The outer pink sheepskin is incredibly soft whilst the inner sheepskin is SUPER cosy. In fact, they are so comfortable that it’s actually quite tempting to actually go to sleep wearing my slippers![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Apart from these bootees, the Celtic & Co. range of slippers includes sheepskin mules in 13 different shades, cute ballerina slippers and short slipper boots that are perfect for anyone who gets really cold feet during the winter months!

With such an extensive range of great quality products, I’d highly recommend checking out the Celtic & Co. website here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Top Designer Highlights from London Fashion Week

[pipdig_padded_text]

London Fashion Week has just finished, and the event has – as always – been packed with fashion highlights that will be remembered for years to come.  My favourite of which was the appearance of Queen Elizabeth II, who made her London Fashion Week debut at the Richard Quinn show sat next to queen of fashion herself, Anna Wintour.

This spectacular, five-day event saw hundreds of designers show off their latest designs. Discover my highlights of the London Fashion Week shows and find out which designers promise to transform how we dress in 2018.

Burberry

Burberry brought a show full of colour to the catwalk on day 2 of London Fashion Week. Combining stand-out shades with contemporary casual wear, Burberry definitely retained its forward-thinking, urban image.

Gorgeous blush pink jumpers, rainbow sparkles, and bright red jackets, as well as chunky lemon yellow jumpers, multi-coloured puff jackets, and floral mesh dresses created one of the most colourful shows of the event. Once most famous for its traditional beige checks and trench coats (which I still love!), Burberry’s intelligent use of colour and drive for hyper-modern clothing has made it by far one of London Fashion Week’s most highly anticipated shows. Incidentally, this was creative director Christopher Bailey’s final show for Burberry, which he decided to dedicate to “the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ rights around the world”.

Incorporate the Burberry trend into your wardrobe by braving multiple bold shades in your outfits — clashing patchwork, geometric and polka dot patterns are all welcome. Select contemporary athleisure styles such as bomber jackets and oversized sweatshirts and don’t shy away from check prints combined with the streamlined silhouette of a classic trench coat.

Simone Rocha

Day 2 also  saw the captivating vintage styles of Simone Rocha at London Fashion Week. With flickering candles in chandeliers, Rocha sure set the mood when she stepped out of her black-lace-dress comfort zone and into a whole new world of historic Edwardian style grandeur. Think long dresses embellished with satin bows, elegant ruches and patterned tulle! Alongside the embroidered traditional outfits, we saw 1980s-style power suits and 1970s-inspired, punky tartan outfits – and who doesn’t love a bit of tartan?!

The AW18 collection is a perfect example of how we can fuse trends from multiple eras into a contemporary outfit, taking inspiration from Simone Rocha. Rocha is a master of luxury layering, so style Victoriana collars with gothic leather jackets or voluminous tulle skirts over cool platform shoes to encapsulate this multi-era look.

Michael Halpern

Another stand-out show on day 2 came from Michael Halpern, who brought all things glitter, sequins and 1970s-esque to the catwalk.

Nothing was safe from disco fever in the Halpern collection. Huge hoop earrings, crazy zebra-print boots under shimmery red coats, and bare-shoulder tops over half-and-half technicolour trousers made for an interesting nod to 1970s fashion in 2018. Halpern also showcased the importance of body-flattering cuts. Think tight sequin dresses, figure-fitted retro jumpsuits, super high platforms and you have Halpern’s glitzy 1970s glamour trend down!

At a time when many designers were advocating the all-black, Times Up movement; Halpern’s fun and vibrant collection gave London Fashion Week an alternative way to inspire hope and optimism – and I love the idea of it![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane’s day 4 AW18 collection was driven by feminine sensuality, and showcased pieces such as red lace dresses, with black leather accents and sparkling diamante fringes. Similar to Halpern’s runway, Christopher Kane’s show portrayed a carefree sense of fun and self-expression — most notably indicated by the slogan: ‘More Joy’ printed on one of the model’s jumpers.

Channel some Christopher Kane in your wardrobe by incorporating sheer lace, crystal embellishments, sparkling blazers, faux-fur trimmed linings, and anything else that makes you embrace the power of your femininity!

Roksanda

The Roksanda AW18 collection was all about creating strong silhouettes and body-enhancing cuts to empower the female outline. With shades of blues, yellows, pinks, and oranges, the Roksanda catwalk was inspired by dance and performance artist, Caroline Denervaud, and every single piece hung and held the models’ bodies to perfection regardless of the movement.

Floaty silhouettes, silk wrap tops and tie-waist designs featured heavily, creating a fluid outline. Silk and satin were prominent fabrics in Roksanda’s collection, while high-necklines and ankle-length hems – which I am personally currently loving – were also very present on the catwalk.

Romantic designs, subtle palettes and undefined lines are the main points to embrace from Roksanda AW18. Wrap your body in loose, silk shirts and culottes finished with a warming long coat and embrace balloon-sleeve blouses and wrap-around cardigans this AW18!

London Fashion Week brought plenty of colour, style, thought and fun to the runway — and there is so much that we can all integrate into our own wardrobes throughout 2018![/pipdig_padded_text]

Adexe Meek Grande Rose Gold Watch Review, Discount Code + GIVEAWAY!

[pipdig_padded_text]

I love changing up my watch according to the style of clothes I am wearing. A beautiful watch is a great way of adding a smart touch to your overall outfit. Adexe London is a British, family-run watch brand that specialises in minimalist, elegant and high quality timepieces – and their newest release is no exception.

Adexe London has previously been shortlisted by British Vogue’s Jewellery Designer Profile, and has been featured on some of the UK’s largest publications including Elle and GQ.

The new Adexe London Meek Grande Rose Gold Watch is a beautifully made watch, unlike any other one in my collection. The watch has a minimalist design with a large black face and a rose gold mesh strap, which makes it look more like a gorgeous piece of jewellery rather than your everyday watch![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

The Adexe Meek Grande Rose Gold Watch feels like really good quality, and you can tell that there was a lot of attention given to every single detail of the watch. The watch is 100% designed and produced in-house using high quality materials and hardened crystal. It is hand crafted and hand polished, which ensures that the end result is just perfect. The watch also has a date indicator, which is very handy!

The Meek Rose Gold watch comes in both a Grande version (pictured here) as well as a Petite version if you prefer your watches a little bit smaller. Although I have quite small wrists, I love the look of the Grande version on me! However there’s something in particular that makes me love this watch even more….[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Having always had really small wrists, I always find it hard to find a metal strap watch that fits well without handing half way down my hand. However, this particular watch by Adele comes with a fully adjustable strap, and you can easily change this according to the size of your wrists – without having to take it to a watch specialist for alternations!

Adexe are offering my readers 15% off any women or men’s watch from the official Adexe website – simply use code RACHEL15 at checkout.[/pipdig_padded_text]

River Island Spring Fashion Wish List

[pipdig_padded_text]

As much as I love winter and winter fashion, I’m really looking forward to updating my wardrobe for the spring! I cannot wait for all the pastels, cute slogan tees and pretty floral dresses!

I recently had a browse through the River Island website and obviously, quite a few things found their way into my spring fashion wish list. Today I’ll be sharing some of my favourite items.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Grey Flower Sleeve Boxy T-Shirt

A cute t-shirt or two should be a staple in everyone’s spring wardrobe. There are so many great t-shirts on the high street right now, but this grey t-shirt with spring-perfect flowers on the sleeves is one of my favourites. I love the boxy fit of this t-shirt, perfect for styling with a pair of high-waisted jeans or under a pinafore dress this spring.

Khaki Green Paperbag Trousers

I’m obsessed with all things high-waisted this season – whether that’s skirts, jeans or trousers. I love the style of this pair of khaki green tapered trousers from River Island, and the paperbag waist makes this a super flattering fit. Wear this with a t-shirt for a casual outfit, or style it with a crisp white shirt for a smarter look.

Rust Red Triple Compartment Cross Body Bag

I’ve been on the hunt for a slightly larger cross body bag for ages, and this one will probably make its way from my wish list to my shopping bag very soon! I love the faux suede exterior and gold hardware of this, and the face that it’s got three spacious compartments makes it perfect – especially if you’re like me and tend to carry pretty much everything in your handbag (#MaryPoppinsVibes). This also comes in so many different colours including black, pink, yellow and lilac.

Pink Backless Loafers

Doesn’t this pair of pink backless loafers SCREAM  spring!? I pretty much lived in my black leather loafers last spring, however this pair of loafers in a pretty pastel pink shade look PERFECT for spring! Wear these with your favourite pair of ankle grazer jeans for the ultimate spring look.

Are you looking forward to spring?

My Current Must-Have Shoes + 5 Tips On How To Shop For Shoes Online

[pipdig_padded_text]

Up until I was a teenager, I really didn’t care about what shoes I wore. As long as they were comfortable, they were absolutely fine. However, as I grew older (and ahem, wiser), I’ve really come to appreciate the difference that wearing the right pair of shoes can make. We’ve all read the quote;

“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world”

And whilst I wouldn’t 100% agree with this, I do believe that wearing the right pair of shoes can help give your confidence a much-needed little boost.

If you’ve seen my latest outfit post, you will know that I am currently obsessed with brogues. Specially my tan leather brogues from ASOS which I have been wearing non-stop recently. They are super comfortable, feel like really good quality (at just £35!) and most of all, I feel really confident when wearing them. I love styling them with a pair of blue jeans and a jumper, and I know I will carry on wearing them lots through spring too – they would look great with a skirt or shirt dress.

I must admit – I’m not a fan of high heels, and although I used to love the extra height and the way heels seem to give you a better posture up until a few years back, I would much rather stride around in my smart flats nowadays, and have learnt to stand tall in even the flattest of flat shoes.

Over the past few years I’ve built up a little collection of ankle boots, loafers, ballerina pumps, trainers that I am really pleased with and cover pretty much any occasion that I want to dress for. However, I feel that my new tan brogues have filled a little hole in my shoedrobe just in time for the winter and spring months. They’re a must-have in everyone’s shoedrobe![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Although I prefer shopping for shoes in store and trying them on for myself, sometimes there just isn’t enough choice on the high street and I carry on my search online. Below are my top 5 tips on how to shop for shoes online:

Use a shoe size convertor

The number one problem when shopping for shoes online is choosing the right size, especially if you’re shopping in European sizes when you’re normally used to shopping in UK sizes. Using a shoe convertor is a must when shopping online, and it can help you to easily choose the right shoe size for you.

Check for details on materials used

Just like when you’re shopping online for clothes, it’s hard to judge the quality of a pair of shoes from a website image. That’s why it’s a good idea to always check for details on the materials used. Are the shoes made from genuine leather or faux leather, are they padded on the inside? This is all information that you can use to understand the quality of the shoes you want to purchase better.

Check the heel height

If you’re after a new pair of heels, check for information on the height of the heels you’re looking to buy. Most reputable online shops will provide this information about the shoes available on their website, and this will help you figure out if the shoes are the perfect height for you, or if they might be a little bit impossible to walk in!

Check the reviews

This may be an obvious one when shopping online, however reviews can be super helpful when you’re shopping for shoes. Apart from information on the quality, you can frequently find information on what the sizing of the shoes is actually like in the reviews – whether they are true to size or whether that particular model of shoe runs a size smaller/larger.

Once they arrive, try them on straight away

Once you have placed your order and your new pair of shoes have been delivered, try your shoes on straight away without removing any of the labels, and do this indoors so as not to damage or dirty the shoes in any way. That way you can still be in time to return the shoes or exchange them for a different size. Try them on with a pair of socks or tights if that’s how you plan on wearing them and assess if they feel comfortable. After all, there’s nothing worse than being stuck with a pair of shoes that don’t fit![/pipdig_padded_text]

Timeless British Watches from Forge & Foster

[pipdig_padded_text]

Although I couldn’t survive without technology, there are some things in life I prefer to do the traditional way. I enjoy hand writing letters and popping a birthday card in the post rather than a sending a text. I love writing my to do lists on a journal, and I’d much rather check the time on a watch rather than on my phone. There’s something I find calming about doing things ‘the traditional way’.

Forge & Foster is a British brand that focuses on creating affordable luxury products including watches that have a timeless and classic British aesthetic with a modern design. The brand is based in London, where products are designed by taking inspiration from high-end fashion and creating beautiful hand-crafted products that are affordable, yet don’t compromise on quality.

After a quick browse on the Forge & Foster website I instantly fell in love with the ‘Rose + Fog Leather Watch‘, which as you can see from the photos, looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_banner image=”http://www.beautyandthebird.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/IMG_7434.jpg”][pipdig_padded_text]

The watch has a minimalist style, which is exactly how I like my watches. It has a large white face with the Forge & Foster logo and rose gold detailing, as well as a gorgeous foggy light blue leather strap, which compliments the rose gold perfectly. The blue leather strap instantly caught my eye as, apart from blue being my favourite colour, it’s quite uncommon to see a watch with this colour leather strap – which is quite surprising as it looks beautiful with rose gold.

As for the quality, it is 100% up there with more expensive brands – not that I expected anything less. All Forge & Foster watches are hand-made by craftsman with many years of experience in watch-making, and use only good quality materials.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

The watch itself arrived in the post well protected and packaged in a lovely presentation box, which you can see above. This makes it perfect if you were planning on giving the watch to someone as a gift (not only does it look great in its packaging, but it’s also easy to wrap – WIN-WIN!!)

The Rose + Fog Leather watch is available on the Forge & Foster website for £69 and the website also offers free worldwide shipping on all orders over £50. All the watches come with a lengthy 24 month warranty, which just goes to show how good the quality is.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Visit the Forge & Foster website to view their full range of watches and follow them on Instagram for more inspiration.

Perfectglasses.co.uk | Online prescription glasses worth checking out

[pipdig_padded_text]

I’ve worn glasses ever since I was 11 years old, when I was still at school and started to notice that I could no longer read what was written on the teacher’s white board very clearly. Ever since then, I’ve always struggled to find glasses that look good on me because my face is (apparently) so small! So when I do find a pair of glasses that suit me, I feel like I should let the whole world know!

The first few years that I wore prescription glasses I always bought them in-store. However, ever since discovering the vast selection of glasses online, it opened up a whole new world for me. Perfectglasses.co.uk is one of those websites which I love shopping for glasses on. The website has a fantastic range of designer glasses and prescription sunglasses available for both men and women.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

After having a browse through the extensive range of glasses available, a pair of Safilo prescription glasses caught my eye. Safilo is a high quality Italian prescription glasses brand that although I hadn’t heard of before, I quickly grew to love! The pair of glasses that I chose are unlike any other glasses that I own. I usually go for plastic frames, however there was something about this pair of classic metal rimmed glasses that made me want to try out something new.

My glasses arrived just a few days after my order was placed and they were very securely packaged in their own Safilo glasses case. The first thing I noticed about the glasses themselves is just how lightweight they are compared to all the other glasses that I own. They also feel really sturdy and durable, and although the frame looks quite thin compared to some other glasses, they do not feel flimsy at all. I was really impressed with the quality of these![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]

Perfectglasses.co.uk have really good discounts across all the glasses that they stock. In fact, the Safilo branded glasses that I got were reduced from £197 to £99, which is a pretty incredible discount! You can also find glasses and sunglasses from brands such as Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Dior, Lacoste and more. This is definitely a website worth checking out if you’re after some new eyewear![/pipdig_padded_text]

5 Winter Fashion Essentials

[pipdig_padded_text]

Just because it’s cold outside, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to live in thick jumpers all winter long. In fact, many brands today are investing in technology-based fabrics and materials to ensure you look your best, without having to feel the cold the second you step outside – or worse, look like an actual live snowman whilst keeping warm!

Here are some must-have fashion essentials that you need in your wardrobe this winter:

Tall Boots

A sleek, tall pair of leather boots will keep you looking stylish and feeling warm all winter long. Pair them with jeans, leggings or even a skirt for an evening out. Black, brown, red or anything in between is sure to stand out and keep you looking elegant while keeping warm in the colder temperatures you encounter. There are so many online brands that have some really nice winter boots available at the moment!

Skinny jeans

You have that summer pair, now you need one for the winter. Go with a darker, or “finished/washed” denim colour in a slightly thicker material. These will look great with a long coat, or even better when paired with your tall boots for the season.

Puffer coat

No, you don’t want to look like you are wearing 20 layers, but a puffer coat doesn’t have to look stocky and big. There are many thinner materials out there which will keep you warm, comfortable and looking great, no matter whether you are going to wear your new winter puffer coat out to the shops or for an evening out.

Jumper dress

Jumper dresses are a cute alternative to the traditional jumper and jeans style, and you can find them in longer or shorter varieties. Jumper dresses can easily be styled with long boots and a thick pair of tights. They are an accent piece which will make you look fashionable, while keeping you warm.

Tote Bag

Invest in a neutral toned tote bag that you can pair with any outfit. Makeup, scarves, beanies, gloves and anything you have with you will easily fit into a large tote bag, making it both a useful and a stylish investment.

Winter doesn’t have to mean jeans and jumpers all day long. With many great styles, colours, materials, and textures, you can still look your best while keeping warm this winter![/pipdig_padded_text]
