My Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Collection

Ever since I made my first ever Charlotte Tilbury purchase back in 2016, my love for the brand has grown and grown. Some of my favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury are the lipsticks – the formula is just spot on.

Although my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick collection is small compared to some others, I love every single shade I own and so I thought I would talk you through the shades in my collection so far.[/pipdig_padded_text]

I’ve previously spoken about the best and worst Charlotte Tilbury products that I own, and the lipsticks are definitely worth every single penny. At £24, these lipsticks are definitely more on the pricey side – however the formula is so much better than any other lipstick I have tried and you really get what you pay for in terms of quality.

My favourite Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks come in the ‘Matte Revolution’ formula. This gives a matte finish without drying the lips and the best thing about it is that it is seriously long lasting! The formula also contains what Charlotte Tilbury calls ‘3D glowing pigments’ which create the illusion of fuller lips instead of flat, matte lips. The formula feels so comfortable to wear and most of the time I forget I’ve even got any lipstick on until I look in the mirror or somebody compliments it.

So, what shades do I currently have in my collection? Below are the lipsticks in order of how I purchased them.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Liv It Up’

For my first Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, I decided to go for an everyday wearable shade and opted for the shade ‘Liv It Up’ – a cute and summery pastel pink shade with slight blue undertones. This is my only lipstick that is not in the Matte Revolution formula – instead it comes in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula, which is more hydrating. It has a more satin/slightly glossy finish and is one that I really enjoy wearing when I’ve got dry lips. Considering it is not matte, it is still pretty long lasting! I tend to reach for this shade more often during the spring/summer months. Review here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Amazing Grace’

I bought this lovely rose pink shade when I was on holiday in Edinburgh – and it was my most worn lipstick for the longest time! It’s the perfect bright-but-not-too-bright pink shade that can easily compliment a daytime or an evening look and it’s great for adding a pop of colour without feeling OTT. It’s a shade that I feel would suit most skin tones. This comes in the Matte Revolution formula, which is great as it lasts really long on the lips. Review here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury ‘The Queen’

This was by far one of my braver choices when purchasing a high-end lipstick. I normally tend to stick to shades that I know I could wear on most days, however ‘The Queen’ is a fuchsia pink shade and is definitely one that I normally save for special occasions when I want to go for a bolder look. Although I love the shade, it’s my least used one out of my whole collection. Perhaps I should try and go for a bolder look even when I don’t have a special occasion planned?! Review (and see what it looks like on me) here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Pillow Talk’

When this lipstick was released a year ago, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. It was one of the most talked about lipsticks of the year, and although I was slightly worried that I was simply giving in to the hype when I purchased this, it turned out to be my most worn lipstick of all time, out of all the lipsticks that I own. ‘Pillow Talk’ is a pinky nude shade which I reach for on pretty much a daily basis. It’s the perfect everyday lipstick that adds a hint of colour to the lips and makes them look fuller. Originally a limited edition shade, this is now available all year round – and I’ve come to rely on it so much that I will most likely be repurchasing this one. Review here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Bond Girl’

‘Bond Girl’ is my most recent purchase from the Tilbs, and it’s probably the shade I would recommend to anyone looking for an all round great shade that can be worn with any look – day or night. It’s the perfect in between rose-brown-berry shade that I have been reaching for when I want something a bit bolder than the ‘Pillow Talk’ but less bold than ‘The Queen’. It looks gorgeous with a bronze-gold eye! Review here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Inside My Makeup Bag | Five Current Favourites

Although I love trying out new beauty products and discover new gems, there are some makeup items and tools that I just keep reaching for! Today I’ll be taking a look inside my makeup bag and sharing my current favourite items with you.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation (shade NW20) has become the only powder that I ever use. No matter how many other powders I try, I always go back to this one! It is great at setting my makeup in place and helping it last as long as possible throughout the day, but what I love about it most is that it also has some additional coverage that works well over any foundation (or alone) to help me achieve a more smooth and clear complexion. I’ve already got my backup sorted! Read my full reviewAvailable here.

NARS Dual Intensity Blush in ‘Fervor’

This is the first NARS product I had ever tried and it has been my go-to blush since around March last year! The ‘Fervor’ blush comes with two shades – a peach/coral blush and a burgundy blush, both of which have a slight shimmer to them and add a gorgeous glow to the cheeks, without having to add any highlight. Apart from looking gorgeous on the cheeks, both of these blushers last incredibly long throughout the day. Worth every single penny! Read my full reviewAvailable here.

Rubis Switzerland Classic ProGrip Tweezers

Dubbed the ‘Ferrari of tweezers’ by the legendary Bobbi Brown, I knew I should expect great things from the Rubis Switzerland tweezers, and I was not disappointed! These tweezers feel really sturdy and are incredibly precise. They have a great grip and although they cost a bit more than what I would usually pay for a pair of tweezers, they are worth the price! I’d highly recommend these if you’re after a really good pair of tweezers. Available here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Benefit Gimme Brow Volumising Eyebrow Gel

I’ve been a big fan of the Benefit Gimme Brow Volumising Eyebrow Gel for years now. It’s just so quick and easy to use, making it perfect for a quick makeup look before work in the morning. Although I prefer using something more ‘heavy duty’ such as the Benefit KA! Brow when I want to achieve a more precise arch in my brows, Gimme Brow is the one I reach for most often. Read my full review. Available here.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Bond Girl’

After falling in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick formula, I had my eye on the shade ‘Bond Girl’ for quite a while – and I was so happy when I finally got my hands on it! It’s the perfect day-to-night shade that’s in between a rose, nude brown and berry shade. Of course, it comes in my favourite Charlotte Tilbury lipstick formulation – Matte Revolution – which doesn’t dry out the lips and lasts really (really) long too! Read my full review. Available here.

Have you tried any of these products yourself?

The Most Perfect Lip Colour of The Year? | Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl

My love for Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks is no secret. Not only is the formula second to none, but they also come in the most gorgeous, wearable shades – and the latest addition to my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick collection is possibly my favourite one of them all.

Last year, it was all about ‘Pillow Talk‘. This year, for me, is all about Charlotte Tilbury ‘Bond Girl’.

This may look like your average berry shade in the tube. However, a quick swipe across your lips reveals the most beautiful shade that you can’t quite put your hands on – it’s the perfect rose-brown-berry shade that looks so incredibly pretty. Whether you’re going for a natural daytime look or want to vamp things up for a night out, Bond Girl works incredibly well to enhance any makeup look – day or night. There’s something extra special about this shade that makes it so flattering and versatile to use and it has been my go-to lipstick ever since I got my hands on it.

Bond Girl comes in my favourite Charlotte Tilbury lipstick formulation, ‘Matte Revolution’ which gives a soft matte finish without drying out the lips. And the staying power is just incredible! I can put this on in the morning, have my lunch, drink several cups of tea and the lipstick will only have just started to fade. Seriously great stuff!

At £24, there are definitely many more affordable lipsticks out there. But if you’re looking to treat yourself to a seriously gorgeous shade that will last all day – Charlotte Tilbury ‘Bond Girl’ lipstick is where it’s at!

6 Favourite Makeup Brands | Drugstore & High End Makeup Recommendations

[pipdig_banner image=””][pipdig_padded_text]

As a beauty blogger, there are many makeup brands that I adore and frequently write about on my blog and social media. So today I thought I would round up 6 of my current go-to makeup brands and share some of my recommendations from each brand.

PS – Let me know what your favourite makeup brands are in the comments section. I’d love your recommendations too![/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury is one of the first high end makeup brands that I bought into, and to this day I still adore the brand! The luxurious rose gold packaging and thought that goes behind every single product released by Charlotte Tilbury makes the brand really stand out. Some of my favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury include the Magic Foundation and Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Amazing Grace’. Although the products are quite pricey, the luxurious feel and fantastic quality makes them worth every single penny. I’ve previously written a post about the best and worst Charlotte Tilbury products, which you might be interested in checking out!

NARS Cosmetics

NARS is a brand that I had been dying to try out for years and I was so happy to get my hands on some of their products earlier this year. Anyone who enjoys reading beauty blogs or watching beauty videos on YouTube would have definitely come across the many positive reviews of NARS products. One of the most highly raved about NARS products is the Sheer Glow Foundation, so I was very excited to try this out for myself – and it has since become one of my favourite ever foundations! It is packed with skin-loving antioxidants and leaves you with the most natural-looking, flawless skin. I am also a huge fan of the Dual Intensity Blush which leave you with glowy, healthy-looking cheeks and the lasting power is the best I ever experienced with a blusher!

L’Oreal is a brand that I have loved and trusted for the longest amount of years. Although it is a high street brand, the quality of their products is frequently comparable to more high end products. I recently wrote about their newly released Hydra Genius Aloe Water, which is my current go-to morning moisturiser. However, it’s not just their skincare which I love – their makeup range is pretty damn good too! Both the Infallible 24 Hour Foundation and the True Match Foundation are two really great drugstore foundations which I would recommend, and no matter how many liquid liners I try, I always go back to the Superliner Perfect Slim, which I can always count on to give me the perfect feline flick.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Rimmel London

Rimmel is another one of my top drugstore makeup brands that I always have in my makeup bag. They are one of the most affordable brands available in the drugstore, and also one of the best! All the foundations that I have tried from Rimmel, including the Wake Me Up Foundation, Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation and Lasting Finish 25 Hour Nude Foundation, are just incredible quality and never let me down! I also love the Rimmel Matte Lipsticks and of course the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is also a great drugstore powder (although I am currently loving the MAC Studio Fix Powder too).

Benefit Cosmetics

Benefit is another brand that I have grown really fond of over the past years. Their super fun, girly and witty branding is on-point, and they are a great brand to look out for if you’re after innovative, great-quality products. Of course, Benefit are mostly known for their impressive eyebrow range (and also their Brow Bar service – which I reviewed here). My favourite products from the range are the KA-BROW! Cream-Gel Colour and the Gimme Brow Volumising Eyebrow Gel which is perfect for super-quick full-looking brows. I am also a huge fan of the Girl Meets Pearl Liquid Highlighter which is a beautiful golden-rose highlighter that you (strangely) almost never hear about online! I rounded up the best and worst Benefit products in a previous post too.

Topshop Beauty

My final favourite makeup brand is one that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves – Topshop Beauty! As Topshop is primarily known for its fashion, you might not think that the makeup range is any good, but it sooooooo is!! I have quite a few Topshop Beauty products in my collection and 99% of the time I am very impressed with how their makeup performs. Check out my previous post for recommendations on the best products from Topshop Beauty. ps – They also do the best bronzer for pale skin, which I reviewed here.

A Look Inside Mum’s Makeup Bag | Favourite Products

A Look Inside Mum's Makeup Bag[pipdig_padded_text]

My love for all things beauty definitely comes from my mum. She taught me many skincare and beauty related lessons as I grew up (among other, more meaningful things!), and to this day we still share new tips and tricks with each other all the time.

Today I’ll be taking a look inside my mum’s makeup bag and sharing a few of her favourite beauty and skincare products – and why she loves them so much![/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation[pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation

My mum only recently tried out Charlotte Tilbury for the first time, however she claims that she’s now found her perfect foundation, that is the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation! I’m proud to say that this was one of my recommendations to my mum as she was on the hunt for a light foundation that didn’t feel too heavy on the skin. Although I am a big fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, I had a feeling my mum would really enjoy the Light Wonder Foundation as it smoothes, hydrates and illuminates the skin while providing a light coverage. She loves how easily this blends into the skin, and although her skin looks exceptional with no makeup on, I can confirm that this foundation really enhances that. Fortunately, we are both the same shade in Charlotte Tilbury foundation so I might have to borrow some of this at some point![/pipdig_padded_text]

YSL Touche Eclat[pipdig_padded_text]

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Complexion Highlighter

My mum has been using the YSL Touche Eclat Complexion Highlighter for as long as I can remember, and it is a product that she has repurchased time and time again. This is amazing for brightening the area underneath your eyes, and again she loves how easily this blends into the skin. I am yet to try this myself, however it’s definitely a product that I’d love to invest in at some point![/pipdig_padded_text]

Lancome Hypnose Mascara[pipdig_padded_text]

Lancome Hypnose Mascara

My mum has tried many different mascaras throughout the years, however the Lancome Hypnose Mascara is one that she always goes back to! I tried this mascara myself a few years ago, and I must say I was very impressed with the way this made my lashes look too – you can see what it looks like on my lashes in this post. My mum says that what she loves most about this is the fibre bristle wand that really coats every single eyelash, and also just how volumising this mascara is![/pipdig_padded_text]

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in Pink Rose[pipdig_padded_text]

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in ‘Pink Rose’

My mum has only recently got into using sheer lipsticks, as she normally prefers to go for more satin finishes, such as MAC Twig. The Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in ‘Pink Rose’ is her current go-to lipstick and she loves this because it feels super moisturising, and although it’s not very long lasting due to its sheer formula, she loves being able to apply this without needing a mirror (risky, but she somehow manages to get it to look perfect each time!).[/pipdig_padded_text]

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Booster Face Serum

As I mentioned, my mum’s skin looks amazing! The Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Booster Face Serum is one of the products that my mum uses pretty much every single night without fail – and is a product that I definitely need to take note of and start using myself! I had actually recommended this product to my mum a few years ago as I’d seen so many bloggers rave about this. Since then, she’s repurchased this quite a few times – and always keeps a backup too! Note to self: Purchase this for great skin![/pipdig_padded_text]

Valentino Donna Eau de Parfum[pipdig_padded_text]

Valentino Donna Eau de Parfum

The Valentino Donna Eau de Parfum is my mum’s current go-to perfume – and it smells amazing! This perfume smells very feminine and floral, with a slightly fruity touch. It has a Bergamot top note, followed by Rose and Iris middle notes, and an interesting combination of Patchouli, Vanilla and Leather in its base notes. The scent isn’t too overpowering but it lasts well throughout the day – plus the bottle looks gorgeous!

Have you tried any of these products? Are any of them on your wish list?

4 Beauty Products I Wish Weren’t Limited Edition

As I was going through my beauty stash recently, I realised that some of my absolute favourite beauty products were limited edition *inserts sad face here*. Today I’ll be sharing 4 beauty products that I really wish were available all year round!

The Body Shop Spiced Apple

The Body Shop Spiced Apple Range

I was a huge fan of The Body Shop’s Glazed Apple range which they brought out in Christmas 2014 and 2015, and I was so glad when I found out that they were bringing out an apple scent once again for 2016 – this time with a bit of a spicy, most Christmassy twist! I managed to get my hands on a few products from the Spiced Apple range at Christmas and have been really enjoying them over the past few months. This is by far one of my favourite scents by The Body Shop – I just wish it was available all year round! I’d love to know what your favourite scents from The Body Shop are!

Lush Twilight, Lush Sleepy

Lush Twilight Shower Gel

I love using lavender scented products before getting into bed, and the scent doesn’t get much better than the Lush Twilight Shower Gel – packed with Lavender Oil and Lavender Flower Infusion. This shares the same scent as the Lush Twilight Bath Bomb – rich, malty and packed with lavender. Both my mum and I are *huge* fans of this shower gel and always reach for it after either of us has had a bad day and is in need of something seriously relaxation. I’ve got my fingers (and toes!) crossed for Lush to release this shower gel again next Christmas – or even better, as part of their permanent range!

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion

As you may have guessed, I love anything lavender-scented. The Lush Sleepy Body Lotion smells exactly like the Lush Twilight Shower Gel – rich, comforting lavender – and works really nicely with the shower gel too. The body lotion has been specially designed to be absorbed quickly into the skin, so that you can slip into your PJs right away. I love applying this before going to sleep, and I find that the smell lingers on my skin until the next morning. PLEASE LUSH, RELEASE THIS AGAIN!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick

Of course, I couldn’t not include the most hyped-up lipstick of the year so far – the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick! And if you still haven’t got your hands on this gorgeous lippie, you’re in luck! The lipstick is still available online, but I’m sure it won’t be available for too much longer. If you love nude lipsticks that compliment pretty much any makeup look and are super long lasting, this one’s for you! Check out my full review here.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick | The Must-Have Lipstick of the Year

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick[pipdig_padded_text]

If there’s one lipstick that’s been all over the internet and magazines lately, it’s the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick. And as a nude-pink lipstick lover, I knew I had to get my hands on it right away, and I’m so glad I did!

Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks are possibly the most beautiful lipsticks I have ever come across. From the luxurious rose gold packaging to the amazingly spot-on formula, it’s easy to understand why the whole world is talking about Charlotte Tilbury’s latest release![/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick

[pipdig_padded_text] Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick is a beautiful and universally flattering nude dusky pink shade. The Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner has been a firm favourite among beauty lovers and bloggers for years now, as the shade is just perfect for retouching your lips whilst still looking natural. It was only a matter of time until Charlotte Tilbury released the same shade in lipstick form – even if it is limited edition! I’ve got quite fair skin, and this is just the PERFECT nude shade on me. It looks very natural, enhancing the natural hue of my lips and making my lips look fuller. You can see what this looks like on my lips in this post.

The Pillow Talk lipstick is from Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution range, which is my all-time favourite lipstick formula. The formula is extremely long lasting and matte but it contains 3D glowing pigments to give the illusion of fuller lips. It also contains Lipstick Tree and Orchid extracts as well as a blend of oils which makes the lipstick feel really lovely and nourishing on the lips.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Spotlight On: Charlotte Tilbury | Best & Worst Products

Charlotte Tilbury Best Products[pipdig_padded_text]

It’s fair to say that over the past year I’ve developed a special place in my heart – and makeup bag – for Charlotte Tilbury. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s very hard to resist the iconic rose gold packaging and the luxuriousness of the products. Today I’ll be talking about the products that are definitely worth investing in as well as the ones that aren’t.

Charlotte Tilbury Best Products[pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette

The Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette was the reason I first heard of the Charlotte Tilbury makeup brand a couple of years ago, and I was thrilled to finally get my hands on this palette last Christmas! This palette is quite pricey at £39, however it is definitely worth every single penny if you’re looking to treat yourself or a fellow makeup-lover. Firstly, the packaging feels so luxe and sleek with a burgundy exterior and a rose gold interior. Secondly, the eyeshadows themselves are beautiful. They are very pigmented and blend really nicely with minimal effort involved! I also love how these four eyeshadows will allow you to create a natural daytime look, and a smokey evening look. A definite must-have. Available here.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in ‘Seductive Beauty’

The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette was recently released as a limited edition product (and it’s still available here!) The palette costs £49 and it contains 3 eyeshadows, 2 blushers, a bronzer and a highlighter – so you do get quite a few different products in there for the price! This is a great palette if you travel frequently or if you want to try out a few different products from Charlotte Tilbury. The colours in this palette are very pretty and work really well together, as you would expect. You can see my full makeup look using this palette hereAvailable here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in ‘Jean’

The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in ‘Jean’ is a gorgeous champagne cream eyeshadow with a whipped cream consistency – think the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows but softer. As I wrote in my full product review, this looks just like MAC All That Glitters, which is one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows, but in cream eyeshadow form. The product contains Vitamin E to hydrate the eyes and soft-focus illuminating pigments to smooth over lines and imperfections. As much as I do love this product, I don’t think it’s one that I would recommend unless you’re a huge fan of cream eyeshadows and use them very frequently. This costs £22 and as its a cream eyeshadow, it is recommended to use this for only 6 months once it has been opened. So unless you normally get through a lot of cream eyeshadow then essentially a lot of product will go to waste *sad face*. Available here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Best Products[pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

I’d never invested in a high-end foundation prior to the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, however I must say I absolutely love this! I posted a full review here, but essentially this foundation gives a medium-full coverage and has a satin finish which looks really natural on the skin. Unlike other medium-full coverage foundations I have tried, this feels really lightweight on the skin so it’s great if you don’t like the feeling of thick foundation. This foundation is also packed with great skincare ingredients so it kind of doubles up as a skincare product too, and I’ve noticed that with regular use, this leaves my skin feeling really soft which is not something I’d experienced before with a foundation! Definitely one to check out if you’re looking to treat yourself to a high-end foundation. Available here.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Best Products[pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks

If there’s one thing you most definitely need from Charlotte Tilbury, it’s a lipstick (or three!). Each lipstick costs £24, however the quality of these lipsticks is just spot-on. I currently have two lipsticks from the Matte Revolution range, ‘Amazing Grace‘, a rosy pink shade, and ‘The Queen‘, a crown-jewel pink shade. Although they are matte, they are not drying on the lips and actually feel quite nourishing. They are also extremely pigmented and have amazing longevity – they stay on my lips even after I’ve finished off an entire plate of food! I also have one lipstick from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, ‘Liv It Up‘, a light neutral-cool pink shade with a satin finish, perfect for spring/summer. This feels even more moisturising on the lips than the matte lipsticks, concealing any dry patches you may have and lasts pretty well throughout the day too. The formulas of these lipsticks, along with the gorgeous rose gold packaging makes each one a real treat and a pleasure to wear. Every girl needs a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in their life. Available here.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation Review

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

After five years in the making, the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation was launched in August 2015. Having heard so many amazing things about this foundation I decided to pick one up a few months ago and try out my first ever luxury foundation.

Although I love my drugstore foundations for day-to-day use, I wanted a great foundation that I could reach for on special occasions, so I decided to go for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. The foundation promises to provide a weightless, long-lasting and full coverage formula that will instantly conceal any skin problems such as acne, large pores, or pigmentation. The product contains antioxidant Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Filling Spheres and Mushroom Extract which together moisturise, brighten and plump up your skin.

I absolutely love this foundation. However, I’m going to get my one disappointment out of the way first. Before I purchased the foundation, I asked the Makeup Artist on the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Liverpool to colour match me to the right shade. The Makeup Artist matched me to Shade 3, which unfortunately is way too dark for my skin tone and I later found out that I am definitely a Shade 2. I can still get away with wearing this by blending it down my neck, however I would have liked this to be a perfect match for my skin considering the price I paid, so I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Moving on to the things I love about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation… and there’s a lot to love! Firstly, I love how weightless this feels on the skin – it literally feels like you’ve got hardly any product on your face yet it still provides a medium-full buildable coverage. It doesn’t look cakey at all and covers up most of my imperfections without me necessarily having to use a concealer over the top. The foundation has a natural-looking finish that’s not too dewy and not too matte – it just looks like your natural skin but better. I also noticed that after using this foundation consistently for a week my skin felt softer and more moisturised, which I thought was pretty impressive. I really love how it’s a makeup product packed with some amazing skincare ingredients, and I would definitely recommend trying it out if you’re looking for a new foundation to try.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette ‘Seductive Beauty’ | Review & Demo

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette 'Seductive Beauty'

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette 'Seductive Beauty'[pipdig_padded_text]

Charlotte Tilbury is the queen of makeup palettes, and I absolutely love her latest release, the ‘Instant Look in a Palette’.

Last month I spoke about the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Instant Look in a Palette’ in ‘Seductive Beauty’ which was released by Charlotte Tilbury as part of an exclusive gift set at John Lewis. This month, Charlotte Tilbury released the ‘Instant Look in a Palette’ on her website, and this is available in 2 shades – ‘Natural Beauty’ and ‘Seductive Beauty’, which is the palette that I’ve got. The palette contains 3 eyeshadows, 2 blushers, 1 highlighter and 1 bronzer. It is compact and also comes with a huge mirror, making this the perfect accompaniment when travelling!

I shared more information about this palette, including close ups, in my previous post. However, today I thought I would share some photos of what the products actually look like on my face. I absolutely love the eyeshadow shades and blush shades from this palette – they are perfect whether you are going for a natural daytime look or a more dramatic, smokey eye look. I also filmed a video (below) where I gave a full review and demo of me applying the products from this palette, so you can watch the Instant Look in a Palette in action for yourselves.[/pipdig_padded_text]

What do you think of the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette?

When it comes to beauty brands, Charlotte Tilbury is definitely up there in my top 3.  The luxurious packaging and attention to detail in every single product has made Charlotte Tilbury one of the most sought-after brands in the beauty world since its launch in 2013.

This festive season, Charlotte Tilbury has released a number of lust-worthy Christmas exclusives which I’m pretty sure everyone will be asking Santa for! The ‘Instant Look in a Palette & Legendary Lashes Gift Set‘, exclusive to John Lewis, is sure to be a hit this season.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]The Charlotte Tilbury ‘Instant Look in a Palette Gift Set’ comes in a luxurious burgundy and rose gold packaging. It is sleek, sturdy and comes complete with a huge mirror on the inside, making it perfect for popping into your handbag. The idea behind the palette is that it includes almost everything which you need to create the perfect radiant makeup look in 5 minutes – whether it is day or night. The palette contains 3 shimmery eyeshadows, 2 blushers, a bronzer and a highlighter.[/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]The first eyeshadow, 1 Eye Brighten, is a shimmery champagne shade which you can use as a base all over the eyelid. Next, 2 Eye Enhance is a medium taupe shade which you can apply to the crease of your eyelid to add some depth, and 3 Eye Smoke is a bronze-taupe shade, perfect for adding some drama to your makeup look.

The palette also contains a Face Bronze and Face Highlight – essentially the highly-coveted Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, which I have wanted to try out for ages. Both the bronzer and highlight are gorgeous and complement my fair skin nicely. I love how natural the highlight looks, but you can also really build this up if you want to add some serious glow.

Finally, the palette contains 2 blusher shades – ‘Swish’, which is a lovely coral shade and ‘Pop’, a rosy pink colour. You can use these separately or mix them up, which is what I like to do. Although the blushers may look small, they are incredibly pigmented so you only need to use the tiniest amount of these – and they blend really nicely too.

The gift set, which is exclusive to John Lewis also comes with a complementary mini Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes which I have heard amazing things about. I love a good mascara that promises to add tons of drama to your lashes – which is what this promises to do! Look out for a full review coming to my blog soon.

I love how versatile and practical the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette Gift Set is, and I know this will make the PERFECT Christmas gift for any beauty-lover out there! Available exclusively from John Lewis

Charlotte Tilbury is by far one of the best beauty brands that I have discovered this year – check out my Charlotte Tilbury reviews.  The luxurious rose gold packaging along with the amazing quality products inside make Charlotte Tilbury one of the most-loved beauty brands this year. And as it’s Christmas next month I wanted to give away one of the Charlotte Tilbury limited edition gift sets.

The Legendary Party Eyes gift set contains the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara, which has received lots of amazing reviews since it was released earlier this year.  You will also receive one of Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock ‘n’ Kohl Eyeliner in ‘Bedroom Black’ – perfect for helping you achieve a perfect eye look this Christmas!

Enter the giveaway below. This giveaway is open internationally from 4th November 2016 – 2nd December 2016. Good luck!
