Latest in Beauty | Your Personalised Beauty Box

I’m not normally a big fan of beauty boxes – simply because I like to choose exactly what I spend my money on, rather than leaving it up to someone else to choose what I receive. And that’s what makes Latest in Beauty¬†different to any other beauty box I have come across.

What makes Latest in Beauty so unique is that you get to choose exactly what products you’d like to go inside your box from their vast range of products from different brands. Essentially, you get to build your own box, which I think is great.

With Latest in Beauty, you can choose to buy a one-off box with 3, 6 or 9 products, or you could choose to subscribe to the beauty box. The products available to choose from on the website are constantly changing and include some of my favourite brands such as L’Occitane, Philosophy, Lee Stafford, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula, Garnier, Burt’s Bees, Rodial and Rimmel.

Latest in Beauty also have a section of pre-filled boxes such as the ‘Movie Night Box‘, packed with products for your next movie night in, and the ‘Grazia Beauty Box‘, filled with beauty products hand-picked by Grazia’s Beauty Director.

So, what was inside my box?

Dr Organic Snail Gel Hand & Nail Elixir

I’d heard great things about Dr Organic products before but I’d never actually tried them out for myself. The main active ingredient in this product is snail gel, which is renowned for its ability to hydrate the skin, reduce any inflammation and helps to repair damaged tissue. I love how easily this gets absorbed into the skin and it’s also got a pleasant lemon-y scent.

Basic Beauty Tools Foundation Blender

I love a good makeup sponge to apply my foundation as I find that it gives me a more natural and even coverage compared with using a brush or my fingers so I’m excited to try out this Foundation Blender by Basic Beauty Tools.

Sally Hansen Color Therapy in 200 Powder Room

I love changing up my nail polish according to my mood, the season, anything! This beautiful nail polish from Sally Hansen’s Color Therapy range contains argan oil to condition the nails and comes in a pretty pearly shade that is perfect all year round.

Senspa Relaxing Bath & Body Oil

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might know just how much I love anything that contains lavender – so there was no way I wasn’t going to enjoy this! This bath and body oil contains a blend of essential oils, including lavender, bergamot and geranium to create a calming spa-like atmosphere at home.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Exfoliating Facial Scrub

I’ve been using this product over the past few weeks and I love it so much that I actually dedicated an entire blog post to the product here. The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Exfoliating Facial Scrub smells like chocolate milkshake and leaves your skin feeling super soft and supple. There isn’t anything I can fault in this product!

Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub

I love a good body scrub, and this Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub definitely did not disappoint. It’s super gritty, so it’s great if you’ve got particularly dry skin – just like mine has been due to the hot weather lately! It’s made from a blend of Dead Sea salts and nourishing almond, jojoba and coconut oils and left my skin feeling amazingly soft.

Perfectil Plus Nails Extra Support

You don’t normally get beauty boxes that contain vitamin supplements so I thought this was a nice little touch – especially as it helps to strengthen your nails, balance your skin and maintain your hair. It’s a good reminder that your appearance doesn’t just depend on the products that you use on the outside, but also on what you feed your body.[pipdig_padded_text]

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

This product needs no introduction – it was very popular a few years ago, when many people believed this was a great alternative to the much pricier Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. I am personally a big fan of this product from The Body Shop. It is great for removing any makeup, including hard-to-remove mascara (tried and tested!) and leaves your skin feeling well nourished too.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Fragrance & Shower Gel [not pictured]

Philosophy is a brand that I had wanted to try out for ages and my Latest in Beauty box contained 2 products from the Philosophy Amazing Grace range – a mini fragrance and mini shower gel. Amazing Grace is one of Philosophy’s best-selling scents and I can totally see why. It smells feminine, floral and delicate, and just gorgeous.[/pipdig_padded_text]

58 Balancing Room Mist

I love using essential oils around the house, and the 58 Balancing Room Mist is a nice change from my usual essential oils. This is made using a blend of essential oils including Mandarin Peel, Lemon Peel, Coriandar, Geranium and Ylang Ylang Oils and smells lovely!

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Last but not least in my beauty box, I also received the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant which promises to help minimise the appearance of pores and renew the skin. This also claims to be great for reducing any blemishes or redness, and I really cannot wait to give it a go.
