What’s On My ASOS ‘Save’ List? Autumn 2017

I am such a huge fan of autumn/winter fashion and enjoy dressing up so much more in the colder months. The cosy jumpers, smart coats and soft fabrics.. there’s just so much to love!

I’ve recently been browsing the ASOS website looking for new items to add to my autumn wardrobe, and a few things have caught my eye…

1. Soft oatmeal jumper

I love choosing items that are super soft and cosy to add to my  autumn/winter wardrobe and this basic oatmeal jumper with a soft, fluffy fabric is a great addition to any wardrobe. I find basics like this are really handy to have and can be styled in so many different ways – whether it’s worn over a shirt for work or tucked into a pair of high-waisted jeans for a more casual look. The super soft fabric makes getting out of your PJs and getting dressed for the day that little bit easier on chilly mornings.

2. Camel coat

I’ve never really been into camel coats until this year, when they seem to be cropping up all over Instagram and Pinterest! Camel coats are a really easy way of making any casual outfit a bit smarter, and I absolutely love the ‘slim boyfriend fit’ of this particular one. Worn over a white-shirt-tucked-into-high-waisted-jeans combo, this would complete the perfect outfit.

3. Red chenille jumper

Chenille jumpers are literally all over the high street right now, and who can resist the super cosy fabric?! Apart from feeling really soft, chenille also has a bit of a satin effect, making it look even more plush!  This particular red chenille jumper has a roll neck and a slightly oversized fit, and would look great worn with a pair of leggings or black skinny jeans and ankle boots.

4. Blush pink duffle coat

I just looooove a good blush pink coat – and this is one of the prettiest ones I’ve ever seen! This skirted duffle coat has a very feminine and flattering silhouette and would look amazing worn over a dress and tights. The colour alone makes me want to pop this into my shopping basket right now, and it’s also got a great big hood and large pockets.

5. ASOS Farleigh Jeans

After years of being loyal to my super skinny jeans, I’m ready for a bit of a change. Lately, I’ve started experimenting with more mom style or straight leg jeans, however I find that these can sometimes look a bit unflattering on my body shape. The ASOS Farleigh jeans look like the perfect alternative to the skinny jean – mom style but still with a more slim fit. I’m also loving the high rise, nipped in waist and the ankle grazer style of these.

6. Pink jumper with frill neck

How cute is this jumper!? The perfect shade of pink along with the cute frill detail on the neck and the ribbed finish make this jumper a great one to wear under dungarees or a pinafore dress, or simply with a pair of jeans for a casual outfit this autumn. I find that I end up with so many jumpers that look virtually identical to each other in my wardrobe, and I love that this one adds a bit of a different touch!
