Summer Style Inspiration | Day To Night in Mykonos

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you probably know that one of my favourite hobbies – aside from blogging – is shopping and having an online browse for fashion inspo.

I was recently browsing Farfetch, one of my favourite websites for looking through luxury designer wear from brands such as Gucci, Chloe and Saint Laurent, and I came across their recently launched Style Guide. The Style Guide is packed with beautiful editorial content and includes collaborations with influencers such as Victoria from In The Frow and Patricia Bright, a ‘destination style’ section, a ‘how to’ section with tips on how to style different fashion items, a section dedicated to style icons and a section which focuses on current trends.

I came across the posts ‘What To Wear For Your Mykonos Break‘ and ‘Style in the Cyclades: From Sunrise To Sunset‘ which inspired me to share the outfits I would love to wear on a trip to Mykonos – one for day and night.

A day trip outfit in Mykonos would need to be stylish yet comfortable. This gorgeous flamingo print cotton shirt from Marc Jacobs would look really flattering with it’s sleeves rolled up to a 3/4 length, and tucked into this navy A-line wrap skirt from Carven. Socks and sandals are back in fashion this season, particularly statement socks from designers such as Gucci, Miu Miu and Vetements. This pair of Gucci striped socks would look perfect with the pair of black suede sandals from Salvatore Ferragamo. The mid-height block heels makes them very wearable – great for exploring sunny Mykonos. Finally, no holiday outfit is complete without a pair of stylish sunglasses, such as these tortoiseshell cat eye sunglasses from Gucci which will protect your eyes whilst adding a touch of class to all your Insta pics!

Where else can you dress up as a (modern) Greek goddess if not in Mykonos? This seriously beautiful wrap dress from Paule Ka is perfect for an evening dinner in the sunset. Not only does it look incredibly elegant and flattering with a fitted waist, but the royal blue and white colours of the dress would look amazing with a tan. The tan suede Polly crossbody bag from See by Chloe is the perfect little bag to wear with this dress as it’s small enough for an evening out and the brown colour of the suede complements the blue and white colours of the dress beautifully. Finally, these tan mid-heeled sandals from Aquazzura complete with an open toe fringe design, tie the whole outfit together in the most perfect way.

Which outfit is your favourite?
