Fragrance Direct Makeup Haul | Summer Makeup Picks

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you might know that one of my favourite places to discover new makeup products is Fragrance Direct. Not only have they got an amazing range of beauty (and fragrance!) brands, but they’ve also got some really good offers too.

I recently picked up a few makeup bits to add to my summer makeup bag, including some products from brands I already love as well as some new brands I’d never tried out before. If you’d like to see what these products look like on me, as well as my first reactions stay tuned for next week’s post where I will be testing them all out on my face.

NARS Dual Intensity Blush in ‘Adoration’

If you’ve read this previous post, you might know just how much I adore the NARS Dual Intensity Blush range. Not only do all the blushers in the range look gorgeous (and very Insta-worthy!) but the quality is second to none. They are nicely pigmented, blend really easily and they have amazing lasting power – so much so that even when the rest of my makeup has melted off my face in the warm weather, this stays put! The shade ‘Adoration’ contains a shimmering pale pink and a bright hot pink duo. The pale pink shade would look great worn as a highlighter whilst I can imagine the hot pink shade being a super pretty summer blush. Stay tuned for next week’s post to see what this looks like on my skin. Shop here.

Lord & Berry #Reglam Crayon Eyeshadow in ‘Flashback’ and ‘Mad For It’

Lord & Berry is a brand that I’d heard a lot about but never actually tried. The brand has recently launched on Fragrance Direct and from my initial swatches of both eyeshadows, I’m expecting great things from these! ‘Flashback’ is a summery light golden-champagne shade and ‘Mad For It’ is a beautiful rose gold shade [swatches below]. I love wearing cream eyeshadows in the summer as they are really quick and easy to apply and they tend to stay put on the eyes longer than powder shadows before creasing. Judging by how long these swatches stayed on my hands after I’d applied them, I think these will be pretty long-lasting on my eyes too! Shop here.

Glo & Ray Longwear Precision Liquid Liner in ‘Brown’

Glo & Ray is a brand that was totally new to me – I hadn’t heard of them before so I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed is that the prices of all the products from the brand are very reasonable – in fact, this liquid liner costs just £6.90, making it one of the most affordable liquid liners available on the high street. I love wearing liquid liner all year round, and it’s very important for me to find a really long-lasting one to use when the weather is warmer. This liquid liner from Glo & Ray has a very precise tip and promises to be long-lasting on the eyes. I’ll be putting it to the test in next week’s post, however from my initial swatches, this is going to be very long-lasting indeed! Shop here.

Glo & Ray Sky Breaker Lasting Silky Eyeliner in ‘Light Brown’

From my initial swatches, this seems like another product that I am going to get on well with! The Sky Breaker Lasting Silky Eyeliner range from Glo & Ray claims to be extraordinarily soft and able to glide easily over the skin to help you achieve precise eye makeup look. This range comes in loads of different colours, from your classic black to more bold colours such as burgundy, green, blue and even gold! I decided to opt for the light brown shade (there is also a dark brown option) as I think this would look super pretty as part of a more natural summer makeup look. Shop here.

I’ll be trying all these products out in next week’s post – which product are you most excited about!?
