Due to being short sighted, I’ve had prescription glasses for the past 14 years, and although I wear sunglasses 99% of the time when I’m outside, I never actually thought about owning a pair of prescription sunglasses – until now!
Perfectglasses.co.uk recently got in touch and asked whether I’d like to try out one of their pairs of prescription sunglasses. As the summer months are soon coming up, of course I said yes. I always thought that prescription sunglasses could be very pricey – which is the reason why I had never invested in a pair myself – however I was pleased to see that the range of women’s glasses available on the website, particularly the prescription glasses, start from just £27.
As I’m a big fan of aviator sunglasses, I decided to go for the Pulse sunglasses. These are aviator sunglasses with a gorgeous dark gunmetal frame. You can choose to order the sunglasses with or without a prescription, which is great if you’re on the hunt for an affordable pair of sunglasses but you don’t need a prescription lens too.
The website has a great range of prescription lenses on offer. So whether you need lenses to help you see in the distance, reading glasses, computer glasses, bifocal, or varifocal lenses – the website has it all! You can also choose between the free standard lenses, Prolite lenses or Kodak lenses and you can choose for them to add an anti-reflective coating. When it comes to choosing the tint for your sunglasses, again, there is a great selection here. You can choose anything from a grey, green or brown tint, to a blue, yellow or red, or you can opt for grey or brown polarised lenses which are great for reducing glare. As you can see from the photos, I decided to go for a dark brown tint on my sunglasses.
My sunglasses were delivered very quickly, and once I’d unboxed these I was very pleased with the quality of the sunglasses I received too – especially considering their very affordable price! The sunglasses are quite weighty – not so much that they feel uncomfortable, but just enough that they feel sturdy and of very good quality. I also absolutely love the aviator style of these!
Perfectglasses.co.uk also have a range of designer sunglasses available with great discounts, including Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Jimmy Choo which they can fit with a prescription lens suitable for you.
If you aren’t completely satisfied with your order, the company also has an amazing 90 day ‘no quibbles’ return policy, whereby you can choose to return or exchange your sunglasses free of charge for 90 days. I think this is a great policy for anyone interested in buying their glasses online!
