NARS Dual Intensity Blush in 'Fervor'[pipdig_padded_text]

NARS is a brand that I heard so many great things about, yet it is only earlier this year that I got my hands on a couple of their products and finally got to try them out! As NARS is known for its great blushers, I was eager to try out this gorgeous blush from the Dual Intensity Blush range – and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

I have recently been on the hunt for a compact blusher which I can take away with me when I travel. As much as I love my Benefit Blush Palette, its size means that it’s definitely not the most convenient when it comes to travelling. On the other hand, the NARS Dual Intensity Blush in ‘Fervor’ comes in compact black packaging that looks sleek and doesn’t take up much space at all in my makeup bag!

The product contains two blush shades – a peachy-coral shade (worn here) and a burgundy shade (worn here), both of which are shades that I use on a day-to-day basis.  The peachy-coral shade is absolutely perfect for spring, and I love the burgundy shade when I want a more deep blush colour. It is literally my perfect mini-blush palette, which is why I have been reaching for this everyday since I got my hands on it![/pipdig_padded_text]

[pipdig_padded_text]Both blush shades have been formulated to give your cheeks a healthy glow and I was surprised to find out that they also contain pearls (!) which create a gorgeous multi-dimensional, dewy effect on the skin (and kind of justifies the price tag too!). I find that the pigment blends really nicely and stays on my cheeks all day, so even when most of my makeup has gone patchy on my face, this blush somehow still looks great on my cheeks. Both shades also look really lovely and natural on my skin and add a gorgeous glow.

Apparently, the product can be used either dry or wet. I’m going to be honest here. The thought of using a wet – and therefore more pigmented – blush kind of terrifies me. However, I think that the burgundy shade in particular would also double up nicely as an eyeshadow, especially around autumn! I will keep you posted about this over on my social media.

The NARS Dual Intensity Blush in ‘Fervor’ costs £30 and is available from Fragrance Direct. You can also check out what other beauty products I picked up from Fragrance Direct in my recent high-end beauty haul.
