Get Your Garden Spring Ready!

Spring is literally just around the corner – and to me that means pastel colours, gorgeous flowers and spending more time in the garden. Today I’ll be sharing some tips on how to get your garden spring ready.

Spring garden

Nothing quite beats the feeling of spending some time out in the garden during sunny spring days. Fishpools have an amazing new garden section, with all the sofa sets, dining sets and day beds that you can enjoy lounging on in your own garden. The day bed pictured above is perfect for adding a bit of a Caribbean vibe to your garden (fingers crossed for the sunny weather to match!) – and is ideal for lazy days in the garden on your own or with a couple of friends. This day bed is made out of a sturdy material which also offers UV protection – and it comes complete with curtains if you’re after a bit of shade!

Spring garden

No spring garden is complete without plenty of gorgeous and colourful spring flowers. As the days start to get slightly longer, you are now able to spend some more time out in your garden, which is perfect if you want to get some gardening done. Spring flowers such as daffodils and tulips should be blooming at this time of year – although you need to plan early for these and plant the bulbs as early as September or October. If you haven’t planted anything yet – not to worry! Now is the perfect time to plant some flowering bulbs in time for summer. These include gladioli, alliums, agapanthus and cannas, which are sure to give your garden a colourful boost over the sumer months. What’s your favourite thing about spring? Will you be spending more time in the garden?
