Marble & Copper For Your Home | Top Interior Design Trends 2017

Marble & copper is a classic combination that has seen a considerable rise in popularity amongst designers and bloggers in recent years. A quick search on Pinterest quickly brings up tons of inspiration for your home, and today I’ll be sharing some of my favourite ways to easily add a  touch of marble & copper to your home.

According to Elite Blinds, a business that specialises in window furnishings in Nottingham, the marble & copper trend won’t be going anywhere just yet as it is tipped to be one of the hottest interior design trends for 2017 – hooray! Other interior design trends that promise to be big this year include:

Green: Pantone’s colour of the year 2017

Tropical Prints: Across bed sheets, wallpaper and designer fabrics around the home

Butterflies: No longer limited to young children’s bedrooms, butterflies can lighten and cheer up any room in the house

Navy: Adding a sense of contemporary style throughout the home

Texture: Textured fabrics can add a relaxing vibe in your home, and is a nice change from looking at a flat screen all day!

Onto my favourite trend, marble & copper, here are some of my favourite ways of incorporating this trend in the home:

1. Photo Frame

One of the easiest ways of adding a touch of copper to your home is by placing a couple of copper photo frames around the house. This gorgeous photo frame from Paperchase is a steal at £15 and would look perfect in your bedroom or living room.

2. Personalised Monogram Marble Foil Print

This monogram print is literally perfect as it combines both marble and copper! This kind of print is a great way of adding some personalisation to your home, and it would also make a great present for your family or friends.

3. Copper Terrarium

Terrariums are a super quick and affordable way of adding some contemporary copper style to your home. Simply fill it with your favourite plant and hang this by a sunny window – perfect Instagram opportunity right there!

Marble and copper does not need to be confined to your living space or bedroom. This gorgeous glass is a great way of incorporating this design trend in your kitchen too. Priced at just £3.99 this is an absolute steal!

The blogger in me screamed in excitement when I first came across this as it looks like the most perfect blog photos prop ever! However, this is also perfect for adding a touch of copper to your office space and make your paperwork look a lot more interesting.

7. Marble Candle

Again, this candle would make the most adorable blog photo prop, however it would also look super cute lit around your home. Candles can completely transform the look and feel of a room and add an instant dose of cosiness. Plus, once you’ve burnt the candle, you can use the marble jar to store your makeup brushes or stationery in.

8. Marble & Copper Wall Clock

This clock is literally perfect! Combining marble and copper, this looks super stylish and minimalist clock would look great in your kitchen, living room or bedroom. Even if you don’t own anything else that’s marble or copper – you need this!

9. Copper Jewellery Stand

How can you make your pretty jewellery look even prettier? Well, by hanging them up on this beautiful copper jewellery stand, that’s how! This stand allows you to store and bracelets, necklaces and earrings whilst adding a special touch to your room.

10. Copper Coffee Table

This beautiful copper coffee table would look absolutely gorgeous in your living room or bedroom, whether you plan on using it as part of a display or for more practical reasons. It’s also quite reasonably priced at £55.

11. Copper Tea Light Holder

I always find it so hard to find cute tea light holders, but this one is gorgeous! Display a couple of these around your living room and fill them with little tea lights for the ultimate cosy winter evening in!
