Lush Charity Pot Review

I absolutely love trying and testing different beauty products. But nothing quite beats the feeling of discovering a good beauty product that also does good...

...And that product is the Lush Charity Pot!

I was first introduced the the Lush Charity Pot when I decided to get a small £1 sample tin, and to be honest I didn't really expect much from it. However I was so wrong. The Charity Pot is a rich hand and body lotion that is packed with skin-loving ingredients such as Olive Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Fair Trade Cocoa Butter, and Fair Trade Shea Butter. The lotion has a comforting, sweet scent that is quite mild, especially when compared to most Lush products.

Although this is a hand and body lotion, I use this as a hand cream. As it is quite rich, it's definitely not the kind of hand cream you would apply on the go, and expect to be able to get on with your life, typing and texting away. Instead, I apply this at night before I go to sleep and let it get to work overnight. This is great for 2 reasons. First, it means I wake up with super soft, nourished hands. Second, it also means that I can't be tempted to use my phone or iPad once I'm in bed!

With every purchase of the Charity Pot, Lush donates 100% of the price (minus taxes) to good causes around the world related to people in need, animals and the environment.

The Lush Charity Pot is available in 3 sizes: 10g (£1), 45g (£3.50) and 240g (£13.50).
