4 Easy Ways To Spruce Up Your Kitchen This Spring

We’re all familiar with spring cleaning, but how about updating your kitchen and giving it a bit of a facelift this spring? Here are 4 easy ways to spruce up your kitchen.

New Kitchen Taps and Fittings

Installing new kitchen taps and hardware can instantly give your kitchen a new lease of life. Superbath have an excellent range of kitchen taps. The ones pictured below are from the brand Grohe, a world-renowned luxury fittings provider, available at Superbath. Both the fittings are made out of brass, and come with a pull-out spout. They also have a 360° swivel area and an adjustable water-flow rate, making it easy to control how much water you’d like, as well as the temperature of the water – super handy! Superbath currently have some great savings on their kitchen taps and you can save over 50% on some of their models.

New Tableware

If your dishes and cutlery have seen better days and have started to look quite dated, why not replace them with a new set? There are so many different options to choose from nowadays – whether you are looking for something contemporary to add a modern touch to your kitchen, or something more classic. If you don’t want to invest in a whole new set, you can always pick up some new colourful breakfast bowls or a few new mugs to add a colourful touch to your kitchen this spring. I picked up 2 cute bowls in a pink and a blue from Zara Home recently for under a fiver each!

Add or Change the Lighting

The lighting in our kitchen at home recently broke, so we’ve had to replace it. Little did we know that replacing our old light can make such a huge difference to the overall look and feel of our kitchen. It is generally recommended to use a cool white light in the kitchen (and a warmer light in the bedroom and living room). However, we decided to opt for a warm light and we all love it! It’s made our kitchen feel a lot more homely and its changed the whole ambient.

Paint an Accent Wall

If your kitchen is looking a bit dull, why not paint an accent wall or install a wooden accent wall? This can instantly add a bit of colour and a contemporary feel to your kitchen. You can find plenty of inspiration over on Pinterest. After having had a bit of a browse myself, I can officially say I am in love with the idea of painting an accent wall – carbon grey, blue or even something bright, such as orange, can completely transform the entire room.
