The weather outside has been quite cold and so I've pretty much been living in all of my warmest, snuggliest clothes. Today I'll be sharing 3 things that have become my style essentials this winter.
1. A Bright Lippie
With the weather being so dull and cloudy outside, I love adding some colour to my look during the winter months - and what better way is there to add a pop of colour than by wearing a bright, bold lipstick! The one I'm wearing here is the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in 'The Queen', a gorgeous bright red-pink shade I picked up in autumn. Up until early last year, I shied away from any lip colour that basically wasn't a your-lips-but-better neutral shade. However, this year I am absolutely loving bright lips! They are a really easy way to instantly brighten your entire complexion and give off an overall more happy vibe. Love love love!
2. Dainty Jewellery
When it comes to jewellery, I'm much more of a small, delicate jewellery type of girl. This stunning Swarowski Tennis Bracelet from Browns Family Jewellers is my absolute favourite this winter. Browns Family Jewellers is one of the leading high street jewellers in Yorkshire, however they also sell their products online. This bracelet features Swarovski Zirconia which look absolutely beautiful, especially when the bracelet catches the light. What I also love about this bracelet is that it's one of those items of jewellery that can be worn everyday as it's so delicate, or you can save it for special occasions as it would look lovely with a formal evening dress too. Dainty jewellery is the way to go this winter!
3. A cosy, cable-knit jumper
My winter wardrobe is never complete without a super cosy cable-knit jumper. I've got a few in my wardrobe this year, including a beautiful white one from Pull & Bear and a really cosy one from New Look (which cost just £7.99!). However, this year I really wanted to invest in a good-quality jumper that I knew would be super warming. This particular jumper from Jack Wills caught my eye on ASOS, and I picked one up as soon as it went on sale! I absolutely love the Aran-inspired knit pattern and the boat neck on this, and it fits just perfectly. I've been getting so much wear out of this since the weather got colder and I know I will be trying to get as much wear out of this as possible throughout the next couple of months.
