As I’ve been spending more and more time in my bedroom or home office space to work on my blog and YouTube channel, I’ve been on the lookout for new, creative ways in which I can transform my space to be more aesthetically-pleasing and practical.

I recently came across the video below, produced by Channel 4, which shows you how you can easily make and customise a pegboard for your office. Following this, a simple search on Pinterest for ‘pegboard’ resulted in tons of ideas of how a pegboard can transform your office into #officegoals, whilst also showing how this can help you make the most of the space you’ve got – no matter how limited it may be!

Most people have heard the saying ‘tidy room, tidy mind’, so it makes perfect sense to keep your desk and room clear to allow you to concentrate on your work. Rather than using up valuable desk space with all your belongings, a pegboard will allow you to store all the things that you regularly use in a more aesthetically-pleasing and practical way.

In addition to stationery, you could also add a few shelves to your pegboard and place a couple of plants or inspirational prints. Just take a look at some of the images on Pinterest here – this one in particular is one of my favourites!

Of course, pegboards aren’t just limited to office spaces. For example, you can easily add a pegboard to your kitchen area to store things such as chopping boards, or even to put some shelving up for your favourite mugs.
