My current job involves working in an office, and although I keep my makeup quite quick and basic on most days, I’ve got 3 makeup essentials which will help keep your makeup looking fresh throughout a day at the office.
A good setting powder is my number one makeup item to take to the office – and the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is my absolute favourite. This powder is great for instantly getting rid of any shine, especially if you’ve got oily skin. It also adds a bit of coverage which helps keep your makeup – and your face – looking fresh. Best of all, it doesn’t look cakey, even once you’ve reapplied this throughout the day! Check out my full review here.
Concealer can be quite a handy little addition to your office makeup kit! The Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer is one of my favourites for using on-the-go. This small pot of full-coverage concealer can be used under the eyes when you’re starting to look a little bit worse for wear, and it also does a pretty decent job at covering up any blemishes or spots that make an appearance throughout the day! A great little essential.
I’ve spoken about my love for the Lancome Juicy Shakers in ‘Piece of Cake’ in a recent post, and I think this is absolutely perfect for popping into your office makeup bag too. This contains a combination of nourishing lip oils and a nude-pink pigment which adds a sheer bit of colour to your lips – and a whole lot of moisture! It’s perfect for applying in a rush, even when you haven’t got a mirror, and can make you look polished in a second!
