Summer may be on its way out, however bronzer remains a part of my daily makeup routine all year round. Unfortunately, a good bronzer is hard to come by – most are too dark or orange for my pale skin and can leave me looking rather muddy. So when I recently got my hands on the Topshop Bronzer in Mohawke and discovered just how perfect it is, I knew I had to share it on my blog.
Psst – You can see this Topshop Bronzer in action in my recent post, ‘Subtle Contour with Topshop Beauty’.
Topshop isn’t a brand that most people would associate with makeup products. However, their beauty range is actually pretty amazing – just check out my ‘Best of: Topshop Beauty‘ post. They’ve got some real hidden gems in their range, and this bronzer is definitely one of them! The Topshop Bronzer in Mohawke is a completely matte bronzer, which is light-to-medium in colour. I’ve got quite fair skin, and the colour looks totally natural on me. As it’s completely matte, I use this both for contouring, and for dusting over my entire face to achieve a subtle, bronzed look.
Although the shade is amazing for pale skin, it’s the formula which makes this bronzer a true winner in my eyes. Powder products on the high street can sometimes be a bit too chalky and difficult to blend. This, on the other hand, is literally perfect. Firstly, it is very finely milled – something which is normally found in more high end products. This makes it super easy to blend, making it look really natural on the skin. Topshop have also got the pigmentation spot on with this – it’s nicely pigmented but not so much that you can easily go overboard and look like an oompa-loompa.
I cannot praise this bronzer highly enough (can you tell!?) and would definitely recommend it.
The Topshop Bronzer in Mohawke is available for £9 from here.
