It’s officially London Fashion Week and in order to celebrate I have been doing quite a bit of online shopping this week! One of my favourite websites to visit when I’m in need of a bit of a clothes splurge is Boohoo. If you’re looking for some new autumn additions to your wardrobe, Boohoo definitely doesn’t disappoint and in today’s post I thought I would share some of my favourite outfit combinations which are currently available on the site, to make a statement this LFW.
Roxy Tie Neck Floral Blouse
This cute blouse from Boohoo basically screams autumn! I love wearing floral prints throughout the summer, and this is a lovely transitional piece with an autumnal floral pattern. Not only does it have a really pretty print and a cute tie neck, but I also love the colours of this shirt – it’s great for adding a bit of colour to your autumnal wardrobe and can be worn to work or on a night out. What’s not to love!?
Marlee Tie Front Suedette Pocket A Line Mini Skirt
Nothing says ‘autumn’ better than a wine coloured suede skirt – and this one, complete with tie front detailing, complements the blouse perfectly this AW16. A suede skirt is an easy way of making an outfit look more put-together and smart, and I also find that A-line skirts are an essential item in any wardrobe. Not only do they not blow up in the wind (hoorah!) but they are super flattering and easy to style.
No outfit is complete without some accessories! And if there’s one week where you should make a statement with your accessories, it’s definitely LFW! I love the Sophia Lips Structured Clutch – this is also available in white or nude, but I think the black leather version complements this outfit the best. If you’d rather keep things a bit more subtle, and add some class, the Zoe Suedette Tassel Detail Cross Body Bag is a great alternative. This is the perfect size for carrying all your essentials around with you, and I love the tassel on the front.
Finally, a pair of heels to complete the look. I love the Tilly Plaited Side Peeptoe Lace Up Shoe Boot – again they’re suede so they go nicely with the skirt and handbag. I also love the lace up detailing and the cut out section at the heel, as they are perfect for adding a little edginess to your outfit!
