Lancome recently added two new shades to the ‘Juicy Shakers’ range – ‘A Piece of Cake’, which you can see in this post, and ‘Show Me The Honey’ which I’ll be sharing on my blog today.
The Lancome Juicy Shakers are described as a bi-phase lip oil, which combine nourishing lip oils with pigment to help moisturise the lips whilst adding a sheer pop of colour. ‘Show Me The Honey’ is a sheer light peach colour. When compared to ‘A Piece of Cake’ I noticed that this one wasn’t as pigmented, as I needed to apply quite a bit more for the colour to actually show through. However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing as this is great for when you want to go for a more natural look and add a sheer gloss.
Lancome have got the formula absolutely spot-on for this. Firstly, it smells AMAZING and feels super soft and nourishing on the lips without being too oily. In fact, it feels super comfortable to wear and I could easily re-apply this and wear it throughout the entire day. It is also a joy to apply using the soft cushion applicator, and feels like you’re really giving your lips what they truly deserve.
As the cold months are drawing close, I know I will be keeping this in my handbag to keep my lips hydrated throughout the winter.
The Lancome Juicy Shakers are available for £18.
