CHARLOTTE TILBURY EYES TO MESMERISE IN JEAN

You may have noticed from my previous posts that I’m kind of having a thing for Charlotte Tilbury at the moment. The rose gold packaging, the luxurious feel of the products – I just can’t seem to get my hands on enough of her products at the moment. ¬†Check out my reviews for the Hot Lips lipstick in ‘Liv it Up’ and the Matte Revolution lipstick in ‘Amazing Grace’ if you want to see what I mean.

Charlotte Tilbury recently launched on the House of Fraser website, and as I get a 10% off student code on the website I decided to treat myself to a product which I had my eye on for quite some time – the Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in ‘Jean’.

I’m a big fan of cream eyeshadows as they are so quick and easy to apply, especially when you’re in a rush. The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows have a gorgeous whipped cream consistency – think the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows but with a much softer consistency. The consistency allows you to create a sheer effect over your eyelids or build up to a more opaque finish.

The Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow Pots come in six beautiful shades, and I decided to go for the shade ‘Jean’. This is a pretty champagne shade which could be described as MAC All That Glitter’s cream eyeshadow sister.

The formula has a lovely, cooling effect when applied over your eyelids and contains Vitamin E to hydrate the delicate eye area. I find the eyeshadow to be extremely long-lasting and doesn’t crease, even after wearing this for a whole day at work. It looks lovely worn alone with some black liquid liner, or as a base for powder eyeshadows, particularly champagne-toned ones.

The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows are quite pricey at ¬£22. However, you really do get what you pay for in terms of quality. I would highly recommend checking out the different shades on the House of Fraser website if you’re looking to treat yourself!
