TANYA BAKES BOOK REVIEW

I’ve been a huge fan of Tanya Burr’s videos since 2013, and some of my favourite videos were always her baking videos. Her videos are actually the main reason I got really into baking over the last couple of years and I’ve made her delicious chocolate cookies more times than I could count! So when Tanya announced that she would be releasing her own baking book I was super excited and ordered the signed edition off Amazon.

The first thing that struck me about Tanya Bakes is just how beautiful the photography on every single page is.  The book is split into 8 main sections: Cookies & Biscuits, Muffins, Cupcakes & Traybakes, Cakes & Loaves, Puddings, Pastry, Bread, Brunch and Special Occassions. I was quite surprised about this as I was expecting the book to be filled with cake and cookie recipes, however Tanya has surpassed this with delicious recipes for things such as cheese scones, sticky toffee pudding, and even Pop Tarts!

I’ve already tried out a few of the recipes, such as the salted Nutella cookies, and have my eye on a few of the others.  Some of the ones I’m most excited to try include the s’mores cupcakes, the chocolate loaf, the salted caramel cheesecake and the peanut butter cups (pictured below).

I would highly recommend picking up Tanya Bakes. Available from Amazon.
