Anyone who knows me knows that I am a massive foodie and I’ve also got a really sweet tooth. However, I’m always on the hunt for healthier alternatives to some of my favourite sweet treats. As one of my favourite things to eat in summer is chocolate ice cream, I’ve recently started my own healthy chocolate ice cream which is totally guilt-free and takes under 5 minutes to make!

2 Frozen Bananas
2/3 Tablespoons Oats
1 cup Almond Milk
1 Teaspoon Raw Cacao Powder
A squirt of Agave Syrup

All you will need to do is whizz all the ingredients together in a Nutribullet or similar for around 1-2 minutes and your mixture is done. If you like your ice cream more chocolatey you can add a little more cacao powder but I find that 1 teaspoon is normally just right for me.  I also bought these cute ice cream shaped moulds from Primark which I’ve been using. I put the moulds in the freezer for a couple of hours and TA-DA!

I sometimes use the same recipe to make a healthy chocolate smoothie which is perfect for mornings – just whizz up all the ingredients and pour the mixture into a glass to drink. You might want to use a little less oats to make the mixture more runny.
