July Favourites 2016

Although I almost always talk about my monthly favourites over on my YouTube channel, it’s been a while since I actually sat down and wrote a post about all the current things that I am loving.

Benefit Gimme Brow

The Benefit Gimme Brow is a product that I’d always heard great things about, however I’ve always settled for cheaper dupes – until now.  This month’s Glamour Magazine came with a free sample size of the Benefit Gimme Brow and now I know that I won’t be settling for anything less. Not only does the revamped packaging look gorgeous, but the product itself is perfect if you want to tint, tame and volumise your brows in one quick and easy step. It’s also water-resistant and long-lasting, making it perfect for the warm summer months!

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl*

I recently posted a full review of the Benefit Girl Meets Pearl liquid highlighter, and like I said in my review, I am head over heels in love with this highlighter. Not only has it got a beautiful golden-pink shade which looks very natural on the skin, but its liquid formula means that it is super quick and easy to blend.  Check out what it looks like when applied onto my skin here.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Liv it Up

Charlotte Tilbury recently brought out a whole new collection of lipsticks, each one inspired by a different celebrity. After spending a considerable amount of time swatching lipsticks on the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Liverpool, I settled for the shade Liv it Up, inspired by Liv Tyler.  Liv it Up is a beautiful, slightly blue-toned pink shade which I have been wearing non-stop throughout the month of July. See what it looks like on me here.

Rodial Bee Venom Night Gel*

Rodial is a luxury, high-end skincare brand which I only got to try throughout the last month. The Bee Venom range from Rodial always intrigued me (I mean, BEE VENOM, in a SKINCARE PRODUCT!?) – and I’m so glad I have had the chance to try it out. This night gel helps to retexture and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, whilst plumping and firming the skin. And it really does live up to all it’s claims, as after using this at night my skin always looks so healthy and plump in the morning.

Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel

I’m sure most of you reading this already know about good old Original Source and their amazingly fresh minty shower gel, however I couldn’t resist including it in my favourites.  As the weather has been quite warm recently, I have been really looking forward to have a super fresh shower which will really cool me down – and the Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel has been doing just that! It’s also frequently on offer in Boots and is currently on sale for just £1!
