Dirty Works

Dirty Works is a brand which I hadn’t actually tried until earlier this year when my friend Amber treated me to quite a few products from the brand for my birthday.  I have since fallen in love with the brand!

Dirty Works is a fun, girly brand with amazing eye-catching packaging, and equally fantastic products which smell so nice!  The brand specialises in bath and body products, skincare items and accessories.

My favourite product from the brand is undoubtedly the You Soft Touch Hand Cream, which I reviewed here.  The hand cream contains shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil and allantoin which together create one of the loveliest hand creams I have ever got my hands on (ha!).  What I love most about this hand cream is that it isn’t greasy at all, so I can use it at work and get back to typing just a minute later without making a greasy mess.  It’s also got a floral, fruity scent which lingers on the skin and kind of reminds me of mandarin and rose.

I’ve also been using the Buff Your Stuff Body Scrub, The Big Chill Out Bath Soak and the Shea You Care Body Butter over the last few months.  All three products share the same scent as the hand cream, which get a  big thumbs up from me!  The body scrub contains pumice and peach stone particles to exfoliate the skin, as well as shea butter oil and vitamin E to soften the skin.  It’s a great exfoliator if you’re looking for something gentle that you can use daily. The bath soak contains chamomile and lavender extract to help relax your muscles and your mind – perfect for night-time baths before heading to bed.  Finally, the body butter contains a rich blend of shea butter, macadamia oil and cocoa butter to nourish the skin. The body butter has a very runny consistency in the tub, however once you apply a small amount of this onto your skin it transforms into a thicker, more buttery consistency which leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling amazing!

The final product I got from the Dirty Works range is the Pure Beauty Facial Oil.  I’ve never actually used a facial oil before so I’m excited to try this one out and I will of course, post a review of it once I have.  This facial oil promises to lock in moisture and rejuvenate the skin with vitamin E, argan oil, and olive oil.  This is a great product to use if you’ve got thirsty, dehydrated skin.
