Herbal Essences is one of my favourite high street brands when it comes to hair care. I previously spoke about my love for the Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner range from Herbal Essences in My Hair Care Saviours post. However, I previously came across the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked range at my local supermarket and couldn’t resist trying out some of the products.
The Herbal Essences Clearly Naked range contains no Parabens, Colourants or Silicone, and comes in three varieties: Moisture, Shine and Volume. As I’ve got quite dry, damaged hair I decided to go for the Moisture shampoo and conditioner. The products are infused with mint extracts which give the products a very fresh, unisex scent – unlike all the other Herbal Essences products I’ve tried which smell quite sweet and fruity. The scent is also infused with notes of rosemary, basil, lemon and pineapple.
Although I love both the shampoo and conditioner from this range, I was most impressed by the shampoo. Not only does this smell really fresh, but it’s also very lightweight, lathers up so well and leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean. It is by far one of the best clarifying shampoos that I’ve ever tried. The conditioner shares the same fresh scent as the shampoo and I find that it leaves my hair reasonably soft, although I would probably opt for the Bee Strong conditioner over this as I feel that leaves my hair in better condition.
The Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Range is available from Boots.
