Loafers are my go-to choice of footwear for spring. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are also so versatile and can easily be styled in a number of different ways! I love wearing loafers with a smart skirt or pair of tailored chinos rolled up at the ankles, or simply pairing them with a pair of jeans for a casual day out. They are also the perfect choice of footwear if you’re looking for something that’s both comfortable and smart for work!
For the last few years, I picked up a pair of plain black loafers for £4 from Primark, and whilst these weren’t the most interesting-looking loafers and didn’t last longer than a few months each, they somehow looked a lot better on me than most loafers I had tried on from different high street shops – and for £4 they did a pretty good job! However this year I was determined to find a decent pair of good quality loafers on the high street, when I came across this gorgeous pair of shoes in Topshop!
The Livit Loafers are made from 100% genuine leather and come in a beautiful suede finish. The loafers are available in black, brown and grey – and although I contemplated on whether to go for the black or brown for quite some time, in the end I decided to go for the black pair! The loafers feel like such good quality and have a cute plait-style detailing along the front as well as a very low heel, which is perfect for me as I just can’t do high heels during the day! These are available for £32, which I don’t think is too bad considering the quality of these!
