March has been quite an eventful month for me, and I can’t believe it’s already over!  Although I haven’t made many new makeup discoveries this month, I have re-discovered some old favourites and fell in love with some new skincare and haircare products.  So if you’d like to find out what I’ve been loving this month, keep on reading!

  • Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr in On and On Bronze

The Maybelline Color Tattoos have been raved about for years now, and the shade everyone seems to love is On and On Bronze – a very wearable and beautiful golden bronze-taupe shade.  This was actually a repurchase for me as my old one was pretty much all gone.  This has been my go-to eyeshadow on lazy days or those days when I haven’t got enough time to spend ages on my eye makeup.  The eyeshadow is incredibly pigmented and easy to apply – I simply apply some all over my eyelids using my ring finger, then blend it out.  This also makes a great base for powder eyeshadows and looks gorgeous with MAC Woodwinked over the top!

  • Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eraser Eye Concealer in Light

Another product which I have been reaching for on most days this month is the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eraser Eye Concealer.  This concealer tends to get quite mixed reviews, and I must admit I was a bit unsure about the product when I first started using it.  Although I love the formula, it did take some getting used to the spongey applicator!  I must admit I do prefer concealers with a doe foot applicator, such as the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, however the product’s formula definitely makes up for the applicator.  It brightens and concealers the under eye area amazingly well, and it blends into the skin like a dream.

  • Balance Me Radiance Face Mask

Although I’d heard a lot of praise for the Balance Me brand, I hadn’t tried out any of their products until last month when I got a free sample of the Balance Me Radiance Face Mask with Glamour Magazine.  The mask promises to polish, hydrate and soothe the skin, and contains kaolin clay, ground walnut shells and a fruit acid complex.  I have been really enjoying using the face mask as it’s quick to use – it only takes 5 minutes – and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and looking glowy!

  • The Body Shop Glazed Apple Shower Gel

You might have seen this product featured in my recent post, Products I Wish Weren’t Limited Edition, and I cannot tell you just how much I wish that the Glazed Apple range was part of The Body Shop’s permanent range!  The Glazed Apple range was available at Christmas last year and the year before, and I really do hope it’s available again this Christmas!  The Glazed Apple range has a sweet, apple scent which somehow reminds me of when I was young – it smells absolutely delicious.  The shower gel has also got added honey to condition the skin, and best of all the scent remains on your skin long after you’ve stepped out of the shower.

  • Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment

I recently wrote a full review about the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment, but I couldn’t resist sneaking this into my March Favourites as I’ve noticed a big difference in my hair since I started using it!  Although I haven’t noticed any difference in the length of my hair yet – I’ve only been using this since March – I have noticed that my hair looks and feels so much healthier and softer whenever I’ve used this.  The treatment is applied to your hair for 5 minutes in between your shampoo and conditioner, and it’s definitely worth those extra 5 minutes in your haircare routine!  Read my full review here.

  • Book: A Vintage Wedding by Katie Fforde

I have always enjoyed reading books, however I’ve noticed that throughout the last few months I haven’t been making enough time to read.  Instead I find myself scrolling through Twitter or watching YouTube videos.  So throughout the last month I’ve been making an effort to make more time to read!  I’m currently reading ‘A Vintage Wedding’ by Katie Fforde, who is one of my favourite authors, and I am loving it so far!  I would love if you could leave any book recommendations in the comments section below too!

  • Happiness Is… Daily Calendar

I’ve previously spoken about the Happiness Is… Journal, which is a cute little notebook filled with cute drawings which describe what happiness is.  These range from being the first in line for a buffet, to rolling down all the windows in your car and letting your hair fly.  The Happiness Is… Daily Calendar is filled with more of these cute drawings about what happiness is, with a different page for everyday.  I have been absolutely loving the calendar as it makes me think of the things that make me happy which I would normally take for granted – it’s 100% the cutest, most positive calendar I have ever owned!  I would also highly recommend liking ‘The Happy Page‘ on Facebook for a daily dose of happiness!
