I've had my eye on the incredible looking Intergalactic bath bomb ever since it was released by Lush last year, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to actually pick one up and try it out! Last month I posted my Spring Lush haul, where I bought some products from the Lush Spring collection as well as some products from the permanent range which I hadn't previously tried.
The Intergalactic bath bomb contains Peppermint Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Vetivert Oil and Cedarwood Oil which together make one of Lush's most cooling, uplifting and invigorating bath products! Once dropped into the bath, the bath bomb fizzes away turning the water the most beautiful deep teal-blue shade filled with gold-copper glitter - it looks magical! Bath bombs which turn the water a blue shade are my all-time favourites as I find the colour so relaxing. You can also hear the popping candy popping whilst it fizzes away which I thought was a really nice touch.
The scent of this bath bomb is unlike anything else I have ever smelt in Lush - it's minty, fresh and has a slight smell of men's aftershave (the Lush website even confirms this!). Although I was initially unsure about the scent, once I dropped the bath bomb into the bath and got a better idea of the smell I quite liked it, although it's not quite up there with Rose Jam for me! I loved the how the scent lingered on my skin for quite a few hours, and the Peppermint Oil left my skin feeling really fresh when I got out of the bath too.
