SPRING LUSH HAUL

Spring Lush Haul

I’m finally nearing the end of my Lush Boxing Day Sale purchases, so I thought I would treat myself to some new bits for spring!  Last weekend I visited the Lush Oxford Street store (which is AMAZING) and I picked up some of the limited edition Easter products, as well as some other amazing items!

1. Intergalactic Bath Bomb

I’ve seen some amazing photos of this bath bomb over on Instagram, however I’d never actually tried it out for myself! Once dropped into the bath, the Intergalactic bath bomb turns your water into a deep blue shade with silver flecks of glitter, just like the night sky.  I find bath bombs which turn the bath water blue to be the most relaxing so I can’t wait to try this one out.  The bath bomb contains Peppermint Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Cedarwood Oil and Vetivert Oil – you can definitely smell the peppermint in this and it’s probably one of Lush’s most fresh scents.

2. Twilight Bath Bomb

The Twilight bath bomb has been around for ages, however this is the first time I actually bought it! The bath bomb contains Lavender Oil, Tonka Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid and Ylang Ylang Oil, making it the perfect bath product for unwinding before getting into bed.  The reason I picked this up is because it smells exactly like the Luxury Lush Pud at Christmas, which is one of my favourite bath bombs from the Christmas range!

3. Rose Jam Bubbleroon

The Rose Jam Bubbleroon is one of my all-time favourite Lush products which I have, and will continue to re-purchase over and over again!  The Rose Jam Bubbleroon is not your typical rose scented product – it’s got a much sweeter scent than that and smells like a mixture of roses and sweets!  It’s definitely worth giving a sniff even if you’re not usually into rose-scented products.  The bubbleroon contains Rose Oil, Gernamium Oil, Lemon Oil and Organic Cocoa Butter to ensure an uplifting bath which leaves your skin feeling super soft.  I normally break the product into two and get two pink, bubble-filled baths out of this!

4. Tweet Bubble Bar

The Tweet bubble bar is probably the cutest product that Lush have ever released.  I fell in love with the look (and smell) of this chick as soon as I set my eyes on him at the Lush Oxford Street store!  The bubble bar contains Tangerine Oil and Gardenia Extract, giving him a very citrusy scent, similar to that of the Brightside bubble bar.  What makes him even better is that he’s even got two white chocolate buttons for eyes! HOW CUTE!?  The Tweet bubble bar is exclusive to the Lush Oxford Street store, but it’s also available online from the Lush Kitchen.

5. Bouncy Bunny Shower Jelly

The Bouncy Bunny shower jelly is another very cute addition to the Easter range at Lush.  I don’t normally tend to go for the Lush shower jellies, however this caught my eye while I was shopping as it looks so cute and smells amazing!  The Bouncy Bunny contains Brazilian Orange Oil and has an incredible citrusy smell, similar to the Tweet bubble bar.  I love citrusy scents at this time of year, and I’m so glad Lush have decided to go for these type of scents in their Easter collection!

6. Best Washes Washcard

I’ve been intrigued by the idea of the Lush washcards ever since these were released last year.  Washcards are essentially solid shower gels, so they are perfect for taking away with you on holiday as they don’t take up much space at all and there’s no risk of spillage!  The Best Washes washcard shares the same scent as Snow Fairy and it’s main ingredient is Fresh Honeydew Melon Pulp! You use this by tearing off a piece of the washcard and lathering it up as you would with a bar of soap.  I can’t wait to try this out and see if it lives up to my expectations – keep your eyes peeled for a review coming soon!

What’s your favourite Lush product to use at this time of year?
