Garnier Micellar Water

I tend to switch up my skincare routine depending on the time of year, how my skin is feeling, and – let’s be honest – how lazy I’m feeling!  I’ve been a big fan of the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for removing my eye makeup for a while now.  However, I’ve recently been trying it out to remove all of my makeup.  I also recently spotted the Garnier Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes in Boots and, being a big fan of the original cleansing water, I decided to give these a go too.

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been all over the blogging world for the last few years – and for good reason! Not only does it do a fantastic job at removing all your makeup, but it is also great for sensitive skin. The cleanser works by lifting away makeup and any excess oil without needing to rub the skin or rinse the skin afterwards. I find the cleanser to be very gentle yet still effective when removing my eye makeup, and it’s also an effortless way of removing all your other makeup too.

I love using this as past of my evening skincare routine followed by a face wash for a deep cleanse, a toner and a moisturiser. However, it’s also great for using on its own if you’re feeling lazy or you simply don’t have the time for a full skincare routine. I also find this great for refreshing my face in the mornings before moisturising and applying my makeup for the day!

You may have spotted the Garnier Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes in my February Favourites earlier this month, and I’m still loving them just as much this month! I’m not normally a fan of using makeup wipes to remove my makeup, however these are unlike any others I have previously tried! The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Wipes are soaked in Micellar Cleansing Water, which allows them to remove your makeup just as easily as the Cleansing Water does. They also contain silk fibres which makes the wipes feel super soft against your skin, and especially around delicate areas like your eyes, when removing your makeup.

Although I don’t tend to reach for the Cleansing Wipes on most nights, I have found them to be very useful, especially when travelling. They are also a super simple way of getting rid of your makeup on those days when you’re (almost) just too tired to remove your makeup before going to bed!

Have you tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water range?
