TOP 5 KIKO NAIL POLISHES

28 January 2016

I only discovered KIKO last year, and I'm so glad I did as they produce some amazing quality makeup at really affordable prices!  You can check out my huge KIKO haul from a few months ago here.

Some of my favourite products from KIKO are without a doubt their nail polishes.  KIKO have an amazing nail polish range in so many different colours, which are available for just £3.90 each (currently reduced to £2.50), and today I'll be sharing with you my top 5 KIKO nail polishes.

1. 338 Light Lavender
Light Lavender is probably the shade which I reach for the most - whether its summer or winter!  Who said pastels are only for spring/summer?  This pastel blue/lilac shade is a close dupe for Essie Bikini So Teeny but comes at just a fraction of the price.  You can see what this looks like on my nails in this post.

2. 287 Dark Carmine Red
To me, this shade screams autumn/winter, and I have been sporting it on my nails quite frequently since the autumn months.  Dark Carmine Red is your classic burgundy nail shade, with a slightly bright twist - perfect for injecting a pop of colour into your winter outfits.

3. 266 Ultramarine Blue
I've always been drawn to blue nail polish shades and as a result I have quite blue nail polishes in my collection.  However, this is by far one of the prettiest blue shades I own!  Ultramarine Blue is a dark navy blue shade which turns into a pretty bright blue shade when it catches the light - definitely one I'd recommend checking out.

4. 497 Pearly Indian Violet
This mystical shade from KIKO is a close dupe for the ever-so-popular Chanel Taboo nail polish.  This shade is so hard to describe, and looks different depending on the lighting.  Looking at it closely reveals shades of deep burgundy, bright red, gold, purple, pink and violet - it looks truly magical!

5. 336 Electric Blue
I couldn't resist picking up this shade after seeing it featured on Lily Pebble's blog.  This vibrant, electric blue shade would look great on pretty much any skin tone, and according to Lily this is a close dupe for Nails Inc 'Baker Street'.  I always reach for this when I want to go for more of a statement look on my nails.

KIKO nail polishes are available in KIKO stores around the UK, or online.
