Eloquence Beauty Skincare

Eloquence Beauty Skincare

This year I’ve decided to make an effort to start taking better care of my skin.  And although I have been loving the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, I recently got sent some products from new British skincare company, Eloquence Beauty, which intrigued me – and I couldn’t wait to give them a go.

Eloquence Beauty is a skincare brand which focuses on using natural ingredients, and the entire range contains no artificial perfume or colour, and no harsh chemicals.  This is great news for anyone with sensitive skin.  The products in this range contain Sachi Inchi Oil, which I hadn’t previously heard of.  This oil, which comes from the forests of Peru, contains high levels of vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids which help to combat skin dehydration and premature ageing.  The Eloquence Beauty skincare range currently contains five products.

Starting with the Purifying Facial Cleanser, this cleanser is infused with Cucumber and Coconut Extracts as well as Sachi Inchi Oil, which together promise to cleanse deep into the pores without drying the skin.  The cleanser itself is slightly foamy, and this is something I would normally avoid as  I find that they can generally be quite drying on the skin.  However, I found that aside from the dry patches I have around my nose due to the colder weather, this cleanser left the rest of my skin feeling quite soft and fresh.  This cleanser would be great for those with normal-oily skin however I wouldn’t recommend this for those with dry skin.

Next is the Firm & Tone Serum and this contains the much-loved Hyaluronic Acid, which is known to plump and hydrate the skin.  The serum absorbs exceptionally fast into the skin, and once dried, I could definitely feel that my skin was starting to feel more hydrated.  Although I don’t always use a serum as part of my skincare routine, I will carry on using this to see whether I will notice any longer-term benefits.

Moving onto the Firming & Moisturising Eye Gel, this is hands-down my favourite product from the entire range!  This clear eye gel also contains a mixture of Sachi Inchi Oil and Hyaluronic Acid, and it feels incredibly cooling, soothing and moisturising when it is applied to the skin – three things which I always look for in an eye gel.  It is designed to target dark circles and puffiness and although I don’t suffer from particularly dark circles, I have noticed it helping with any puffiness underneath my eyes.  This is one product I would definitely recommend trying out from the range!

Probably my second favourite product from the range is the Protect & Repair 24 Hour Cream.  This moisturising cream also contains Sachi Inchi Oil and Hyaluronic Acid.  It is recommended to use this cream once a day, either in the morning or at night.  Personally, I prefer to use this in the mornings as it contains UVA and UVB protection and absorbs into the skin pretty quick.  I also find that this works well as a makeup base.

Finally, the range also contains a multi-use Nourishing Treatment Oil.  The treatement oil can be used either on the skin, hair or nails.  It is made with Coconut Oil and Almond Oil, both of which are known for being very conditioning.  In addition to using this directly on the skin, hair or nails, Eloquence suggest blending this with your moisturiser, shampoo or conditioner to inject more moisture.  Although I haven’t used this directly on my skin or hair (I’m not too keen on having something so oily on either my skin or hair), I think that this makes a great nail conditioner – and this 50ml tube will definitely last quite a while!

I must also add that although the Eloquence Beauty range contains no artifical perfumes, some of the products do have a slight lemon scent, probably due to the inclusion of Lemon Peel Oil in the ingredients – something which I quite like.

The Eloquence Beauty skincare range is available from here.  The lovely team at Eloquence are also offering 20% off all of their products until the end of January by using the code JANUARYEQ.
