I’d heard lots of great stuff about KIKO throughout the last few years. However it wasn’t until earlier this year that I actually headed to KIKO myself – you can see the haul here. I have since fallen in love with the brand, and have been really enjoying their Perfecting Bronzer from the Rebel Romantic collection.
The Rebel Romantic collection at KIKO is a limited edition collection of gorgeous makeup items. All the makeup items from the collection are housed in beautiful rose gold packaging, which reminds me slightly of Charlotte Tilbury. As I was on the lookout for a new bronzer, I decided to try out the Perfecting Bronzer from the range.
The bronzer is available for £12.90 and comes in 2 shades; Light-Medium and Medium-Dark. As I’ve got quite fair skin and would be using this during the autumn/winter, I went for the Light-Medium shade. The bronzer is embossed with a really pretty pattern, and contains a circle of ‘perfecting powder’ in a light pink shade at the centre which helps to correct any dullness. I like to swirl a big, fluffy powder brush across both shades before applying it to my skin.
The Rebel Romantic Perfecting Bronzer has the most incredibly smooth, velvety texture and blends amazingly well on my skin. Compared to my previous bronzer, the Bourjois Delice de Poudre, this is quite pigmented so I always use a light hand when applying it. This way, it adds a lovely bit of warmth to my skin without looking orange. I would describe it as having a ‘satin’ finish, as it does not contain any shimmer, however it has a very natural, satin -almost matte- finish on the skin.
I would highly recommend picking up this bronzer and checking out the rest of the Rebel Romantic collection before it’s discontinued!
