I absolutely love curling up on the sofa with a book and a cosy blanket during this time of year. I recently got sent a new book release, ‘A Journey in Style’, which is a combination of two things which I love – books and fashion. Heathrow recently teamed up with British supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Fashion Editor Elizabeth Walker, to launch a new book which combines fashion and travel, with proceeds going to Heathrow’s official charity partner, Oxfam.
‘A Journey in Style’ contains a stunning collection of photographs of jet-set style through the ages. The book features fashion royalty, as well as actual royalty, and contains a collection of archive photography, as well as photographs of current fashion icons, making this an ideal book for fashion enthusiasts of all ages. Some of the most iconic style influencers that can be found in the book include Marilyn Monroe, Mick Jagger, Victoria Beckham, as well as Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, and other members of the royal family.
‘A Journey in Style’ has been created to mark the completion of a three year programme at Heathrow, which brought together the most luxurious fashion brands from around the world at Terminal 5 – with each shop echoing each brand’s flagship location. This includes some of my favourite brands includeing Harrods, Mulberry, Ted Baker, and Chanel which opened its doors at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 just earlier this month.
‘A Journey in Style‘, which has been published by Endeavour London Ltd., is currently available from Amazon UK and from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 Art Gallery for £15.
