The ‘How much is my face worth?’ tag has been around for quite a while now, however I never really got round to doing it until now. (This definitely has nothing to do with me putting it off… err!) I normally use a mixture of drugstore and high end beauty products so it’ll be interesting to see how much this actually adds up to.
So, let’s find out how much my face is actually worth.
Foundation: Rimmel London Lasting Finish Nude Foundation in ‘Ivory’ – £7.99
Concealer: Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in ‘Ivory’ – £5.49
Powder: MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in ‘NW20’ – £22
Bronzer: KIKO Rebel Romantic Bronzer in ‘Light-Medium’ – £12.90
Blush: Benefit Dandelion Blush – £23.50
Highlight: Topshop Glow Stick – £10
Eyeshadow: KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in ’06 Golden Brown’ – £6.90 + Urban Decay Naked Palette shades ‘Half Baked’, ‘Smog, ‘Naked’ – £38
Eyeliner: L’Oreal Superliner Black Lacquer Waterproof – £6.49
Mascara: L’ancome Hypnose Star – £22.50
Eyebrows: Sleek Brow Kit in ‘Light’ – £8.49
Lipstick: KIKO Velvet Mat Satin lipstick in ‘612 Strawberry Pink’ – £6.90
I added all the products up, and shockingly the total came to £171.61!
I was expecting this to be much lower as I do use quite a few drugstore products in my everyday makeup routine. I must also add that some of the products used, including the Benefit blush and L’ancome mascara came in samples/ were mini versions and so would actually worth much less.
This has definitely made me aware that I should swap some of my higher end makeup products with drugstore alternatives!
I tag anyone of you who hasn’t yet done the ‘How much is my face worth?’ tag to give this a try! Let me know if you’ve done this as I’d be interested to check them out!
