L'OREAL SUPERLINER BLACK LACQUER WATERPROOF | REVIEW

L'OREAL SUPERLINER BLACK LACQUER WATERPROOF

I’ve been using felt tip liquid liners for around the last 2 years.  They are easy to use and look just as good as normal liquid eyeliner.  In fact, I have previously reviewed the Soap and Glory Supercat Liner and the L’Oreal Superliner Perfect Slim.

Although I loved them both, I have found that felt tip liners tend to dry out quite quickly, which makes it difficult to achieve a cat eye flick.  So, on my last trip to Boots I decided to pick up just a normal, classic liquid eyeliner and chose to try out the L’Oreal Superliner Black Lacquer Waterproof.  Read on to find out what I thought of the product.

Generally, I’m not a huge fan of waterproof eye makeup.  I tend to stick with non-waterproof mascara as I find it so hard to remove at the end of the day.  However, when it comes to liquid eyeliner, I want it to last long and if possible, I want it to look as good at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it in the morning.  So I decided to go for a waterproof liquid liner, something I’d never tried before.

L'OREAL SUPERLINER BLACK LACQUER WATERPROOF

The first thing I noticed about the L’Oreal Superliner Black Lacquer Waterproof is that it is incredibly pigmented. And although it’s not the normal felt tip liner that I’m used to, I still found it easy to control and only took a couple of days of getting used to! As the eyeliner is marketed as being waterproof, I found that it lasts really long and looks great even by the time I go to remove my makeup in the evening. Although it’s waterproof to an extent, and stays put in sweaty and humid conditions, I wouldn’t say its completely waterproof. One thing I really loved about this is that unlike any waterproof mascaras that I’ve tried, the eyeliner is really easy to remove using my Garnier Micellar Water – hooray!

I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a long lasting, highly pigmented liquid liner!
