Summer will soon be drawing to a close as September approaches. This September, I will be handing in my final year dissertation and will have officially finished uni. However, to some of you, September might mean that you will be starting or returning to uni! Read on to find my top 3 items to pack for uni!
1. Wireless speakers.
I’ve always found that listening to music can help keep me calm and motivated while working on my assignments or my dissertation. I love listening to music by Jack Johnson or Passenger when I need to keep calm, and artists such as Olly Murs or Ella Eyre, when I want something more up-beat and energising! However, listening to music using earphones for too long can damage your hearing. Wireless speakers are a great alternative, and can make your music sound so much better too! Panasonic have a great range of portable wireless speakers, which you can see here. You can also use your wireless speakers as a music alarm – this definitely beats waking up to an annoying alarm tone!
2. A quirky notebook.
I honestly don’t think I would have gotten through university without my trusty notebook! Admittedly, I haven’t got the best memory. However, writing lists of all the work I needed to do, and making handy study plans when exams were approaching not only helped me to keep on track and be more organised, but it also helped me to keep calm as I would tick off all the stuff I had done.
3. Makeup cleansing wipes.
Everybody knows that the use of cleansing wipes should be kept to a minimum (if at all). However, late nights spent working on your uni work or on a night out might mean that your full cleansing regime might not be the most important thing on your mind at the time (ie. SLEEP). I have found myself tempted to sleep with all my makeup on many times on these occasions, and this is when cleansing wipes can come in very handy – at least until morning, when you can properly cleanse your face, tone and moisturise to give your skin all the TLC it deserves.
