I have been loving sorbets this summer! Both edible sorbet as well as sorbet-inspired beauty products, such as The Body Shop Aqua Boost Sorbet which I recently reviewed. Lately I have been trying out the Sanctuary Spa Cooling Body Sorbet as my moisturiser as it seemed perfect for the summer. Read on to find out what I thought of the product.
Sanctuary Spa recently brought out their Cooling Sorbet collection in anticipation of the hot summer months ahead. I was intrigued to find out more about the collection as I am not a fan of hot weather so anything ‘cooling’ sounds great to me! The collection consists of a Cooling Shower Drench, Cooling Glacial Scrub and a Cooling Body Sorbet. Each product is infused with cucumber and calming aloe vera – perfect for the summer as aloe vera is great for soothing sunburn or mosquito bites.
I decided to go for the Cooling Body Sorbet, a body lotion with a sorbet texture. The sorbet is infused with waterlily, cucumber water and aloe vera and has a light, fresh summery scent which I really like. As soon as the sorbet is applied to the skin it instantly feels refreshing, soothing and moisturising. However the thing I love most about this product is how non-greasy it is. It is by far the most non-greasy body moisturiser that I have ever used as it instantly sinks into the skin does not leave any residue at all. This makes it perfect for warmer summer days when greasy skin is the last thing you’d want!
The Sanctuary Spa Cooling Body Sorbet is available from Boots.
