Spring is just around the corner, which means more sunny days, brighter colours and most importantly (ahem..) my birthday!

I love wearing colourful nail polish throughout the whole year, however there’s something about spring which makes wearing colourful nails even more fun!  So, here are my top 5 spring nail polishes.

Spring nail polish

1. Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in ‘Papaya’

The Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints have been popular all over the blogging community ever since their release a few years back – and for good reason too!  They are super shiny, long-lasting and come in an ever-growing range of colours.  One of my favourites this spring is the shade ‘Papaya’, a sort of muted-neon/pastel orange, which looks so pretty this time of year!

2. Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in ‘Rose Hip’

‘Rose Hip’ is a gorgeous pastel pink shade, which kind of reminds me of Essie ‘Fiji’ (comparison post coming up!).  It’s one of those shades that compliments pretty much all skin tones, and gives the illusion of having more of a tan than you actually do.  You can check out my full Barry M Nail Paint collection here.

3. Nails Inc Polish in ‘Marylebone Mews’

‘Marylebone Mews’ is the perfect grey/lilac nail polish which would look good with any outfit this spring.  I was lucky enough to pick up this nail polish free with Glamour Magazine last December, however there are several similar shades to this which you can still get, such as Nails Inc ‘Portchester Square’ or Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in ‘Almond’ (which are just ever so slightly lighter).

4. Essence Colour & Go in ‘Absolutely Blue’

I spoke about this Essence nail polish in one of my earlier blogposts (here).  ‘Absolutely Blue’ is a pastel blue/lilac shade, which is perfect for spring.  I have also found this to be very long-lasting and chip-resistant, and a pleasure to apply thanks to its flat brush.

5. Models Own Polish in ‘Apple Pie’

I picked up this Models Own polish back when scented nail polishes were a thing.  However, although the hype has died down since then, I still love wearing this nail polish as it is such a pretty pastel mint shade, unlike any other polish I own.  As a little bonus, it also smells like apple sweets once it has dried.

I hope you enjoyed my top 5 nail polishes that I will be wearing this spring.  What are you currently loving on your nails?
