Spring has well and truly started – and while I normally go for a bold liquid liner look, I have decided to keep things looking fresher and more natural this spring.
1. THE BASE
I started off by applying The Airbrush Primer by Topshop. The primer contains light reflecting particles to leave your skin looking dewy, while also blurring away imperfections and minimising the appearance of pores. I have been a huge fan of this primer lately and find that my makeup lasts so much longer with this product. I then applied the The Foundation by Topshop in Shade 1 and blended this in using my fingers. This foundation offers medium coverage and leaves the skin looking fresh while feeling weightless on the skin. It is the perfect not-too-dewy but not-too-matte foundation, which I love! Finally I used The Concealer Palette and applied it underneath my eyes, and on any blemishes. This palette is perfect for travelling and for any on-the-go touch ups!
2. THE CHEEKS
I applied the Topshop Highlighter in ‘Horizon’ by gently dusting it over my cheeks using a big powder brush. This highlighter is a perfect shade for this spring/summer season. It’s golden-bronze colour makes it so versatile, and can even be used on the eyes as an eyeshadow (as you will see in the next paragraph!)
3. THE EYES
Using an eyeshadow brush, I applied some of the Highlighter in ‘Horizon’ onto my eyelids, blending out the edges using a fluffy eyeshadow brush. I also applied some of the product underneath my lower lashes to add some definition. I then lined my upper lashes using the Topshop Kohl Pencil in ‘Coal’ and blended it out using a soft pencil brush to achieve a softer look. I defined my eyebrows using the Brow Pencil in ‘Blonde’. This brow pencil has a spoolie brush on one side, which is perfect to brush through your brows and achieve a more natural, defined look.
4. THE LIPS
Finally, I applied the Topshop Lipstick in ‘Innocent’ on my lips to finish off the look. ‘Innocent’ is a blue-toned pink shade. It feels very creamy and hydrating on the lips and offers great pigmentation. This will definitely be my go-to lipstick this spring!

I will be posting an evening spring makeup look later on this week!
