Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Nude-ist

I've had my eye on the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet range ever since they made an appearance in the shops - and I finally decided to try them out!  I went for the most easy-to-wear shade (in my opinion) from the collection, 'Nude-ist'.

Out of all eight shades in the Rouge Edition Velvet range, 'Nude-ist' is the one that stood out to me the most - an everyday, easy-to-wear dusky pink-nude that I could just throw on with (almost) any makeup look!

'Nude-ist' applies just like a liquid lipstick, with a doe-foot applicator and glides on the lips smoothly, making application quick and easy.  It leaves a lovely semi-matte/velvet finish which is opaque with just one coat.  Bourjois claim that this product feels 'light' on the lips, which I definitely agree with.  It's one of those lip products which you forget you're even wearing as you can't feel it there - making it one of the most comfortable lip products I own.  It is also incredibly long lasting, even after eating and drinking throughout the day.

One thing I should mention is that I suffer from dry lips, and I do find that on particularly dry days, this does dry my lips out a little - however, this is not too noticeable, and moisturising my lips before wearing this in the mornings makes a huge difference.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product, especially if you're looking for a fuss-free and easy to wear lip product which you could wear as part of your everyday makeup look!

The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet range is available for £8.99 from Boots or ASOS.
