As I mentioned in my previous post, I am a huge fan of Montagne Jeunesse face masks. I recently posted a review of the Montagne Jeunesse Hot Spring Sauna Face Mask (here) – and today I will be sharing my thoughts on the Montagne Jeunesse Brazilian Mud Fabric Masque.
This face masque contains purple Brazilian mud, which is high in magnesium, acai berries and avocado. The ingredients are soaked into a cloth/fabric, which you simply place onto your face, lie back and let it sink in! Since this is a fabric masque it has the benefits of being much less messy to apply than a regular mud mask, yet still retaining all the benefits!
So, what did I think of The Brazilian Mud Fabric Masque? Well, first of all it smells lovely – just like berry yoghurt (and I mean this in the nicest way!). However, more importantly I found that this face mask has drastically improved the appearance of my skin – after just 15 minutes! After spending a few days away in Amsterdam, I found my skin was in serious need of some pampering – travelling does not do my skin any good! It was dry in some areas, my T-zone was really oily and I had possibly one of the worst breakouts in the history of breakouts. However, after applying this face mask for 15 minutes, my skin looked and felt so much better! It soothed any redness, spots were faded, reduced oiliness in my T-zone and sufficiently moisturised my face leaving it feeling nice and soft. Basically, it seemed to do all the right things in all the right places!
This was actually a re-purchase as I was so impressed with it the first time I tried it out a few months ago – and I will most definitely be re-purchasing this one again!
