I only really started getting into body lotions and butters last year, and have been a huge fan of Soap & Glory’s body moisturizers (You can read my review for Soap & Glory’s Smoothie Star Body Milk here). However, on my last trip to Boots I passed by the Sanctuary Spa section and having heard great stuff about their products from other bloggers I thought I would give them a go, and I opted for the Sanctuary Spa Comforting Night Butter.
Sanctuary Spa Comforting Night Butter is blended with a number of essential oils which help to reduce tension and get a good night’s sleep. These include ylang ylang (to reduce tension and relieve stress), frankincense (to clarify and calm) and patchouli (to reduce anxiety). It also includes some great skin nourishing ingredients such as mango and shea butter to leave the skin feeling silky and soft.
As soon as I first opened the tub, I was hit by an amazing fragrance! It is unlike any scent I have smelt before, and it is rather comforting. The Sanctuary Spa Comforting Night Butter is priced at £9.50 for 200ml and a little goes a long way – both scent-wise and skin-softening-wise. It is not greasy in the slightest when applied to the skin and sinks in quicker than any other body butter I have used. I prefer saving this body butter especially for when I have showers right before getting into bed as I always wake up with soft, moisturised skin and the scent lingers until the morning! It is by far one of the best body butters I have ever used and I will definitely be repurchasing!
