I love using a good fask mask once a week and have been a huge fan of Montagne Jeunesse face masks for several years now – so I thought it was about time I reviewed some of their face masks on my blog!
Today I shall be reviewing the Hot Spring Sauna Face Mask.
The Montagne Jeunesse Hot Spring Sauna Face Mask is a self-heating mask and is available for just £1 from Boots (regularly on offer too!). It promises to exfoliate the skin and leave it feeling nourished, and contains volcanic spring powder and ginger.
Once I cleansed my face with warm water and applied the mask, I could feel it instantly warm up on my skin. The mask contains little grains of Bamboo which exfoliate the skin and allow the mask to deeply cleanse pores. Although I couldn’t quite pinpoint the scent it smelt quite tropical and fruity, which I really liked. Also, I should mention that although I have sensitive skin which means that I do sometimes react to certain face masks (which make my skin sting), my skin seemed perfectly happy with this mask and it did not sting at all!
After I’d left the face mask on for around 20 minutes I rinsed it off using a cloth – and I was so impressed with the results! My skin felt very soft and nourished, as promised, and also felt deeply cleansed!
I would highly recommend this face mask, and at just £1 – it’s great value for money! Although I generally prefer the normal non-self-heating clay masks from Montage Jeunesse, this has definitely become one of my favourites as the results are amazing.
