Marc Jacobs Honey had been on my wishlist ever since I first gave it a sniff some time last year (in fact it had even featured in my September Beauty Wishlist!) – it was love at first sniff! However, being a student I could not justify spending £50 on a bottle of scented liquid. This all changed, however, when I was passing through Duty Free at Gatwick Airport and spotted my beloved Marc Jacobs Honey at a rather amazing discounted price!
I’m not particularly great at describing scents, however I wouldn’t say that this perfume smells predominantly of honey – it does however have some honey notes! The Marc Jacobs website describes the scent as floral, with a sparkling golden touch.
It has top notes of pear and mandarin, mid notes of orange blossom, peach nectar, apricot and honeysuckle, and base notes of honey, vanilla and smooth woods.
To the untrained nose (ie. mine) it smells very feminine, fun, floral with a hint of warm honey!
The packaging is very cute and looks great on my dressing table and as for the scent, it lasts pretty much all day on me, although it does start to fade after around 7 hours.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase 🙂
