Soap & Glory

Soap & Glory

I recently realised that I needed to stock up on some (read: quite a few) beauty products & I’ve wanted to try out some new products for a while too, so I popped into my local Boots & Superdrug earlier this week, and this happened!

If you’ve followed my blog for a while now you would know that I absolutely love Soap & Glory, especially their body//bath products.  Sugar Crush Body Scrub is a product I have purchased over and over again – it smells deliciously citrusy and sweet and leaves my skin feeling so soft (Check out my review here!).  I also purchased another body scrub, Flake Away which I have not previously tried.  It smells so fresh, floral and feminine!  The Righteous Butter smells just like Flake Away, and having previously tried the mini travel size version, I decided to invest in the full size tub.  My boyfriend also loves the smell of this, BONUSGirligo Spray-on Body Moisturizing Mist shares the same scent, so I decided to go for it for days when I can’t be bothered with properly moisturising my body, yet still want to smell yummy!  Finally, after watching one of Zoella’s recent videos, where she recommended Smoothie Star Body Milk, I decided to give it a sniff… and I was sold!

*Tip: Soap & Glory are frequently on 3 for 2 at Boots*

Beauty Haul

I’ve wanted to try out a new primer for a while now so I picked up the new Rimmel Stay Matte Primer.  I haven’t tried it out properly yet, but stay tuned for a review!  I also purchased the Bourjois Healthy Mix Gel Foundation as I have been using Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation for a long time now, and fancy a change once I run out.  I also picked up two brushes from No7, the No7 Eye Colour Brush as well as the No7 Eye Contour Brush (Some people have compared this to the MAC 217 brush).  I have used them a couple of times so far and I do like them so far!  Finally, I picked up the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter, which I’m looking forward to trying out as the reviews have been quite promising (plus it only cost £3!).

Beauty Haul

I love Barry M nail paint, especially their Gelly Hi-Shine range (Check out my Barry M Nail Paint collection here).  I was very excited when I heard they released three new pastel shades in time for spring, so I decided to go for the pale pastel pink shade, Barry M Rose Hip (aka Pink Lady on the Superdrug website?!).  I also decided to try out a bright coral/orange shade, Barry M Papaya.  The Gelly Hi-Shine range is so long-lasting and opaque and I would highly recommend trying them out.  I also picked up L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara as I have been using Maybelline mascaras for so long and fancied a bit of a change!  Burt’s Bees Lipbalm, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser (review here) are three products which I love and keep re-purchasing!

Beauty Haul

My skin has been quite terrible for the past few months, however I found that both the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask (phew!) as well as the much hyped La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] have been helping to improve my skin’s condition and so I decided to re-purchase both.

Montagne Jeunesse

Superdrug Face Masks

Last but not least I went a bit face masque crazy.  I enjoy using face masques once a week (Face Masque Fridays anyone!?), as I find it helps improve the condition of my skin so much.  Montagne Jeunesse is one of my favourite face masque brands as they are affordable and work amazingly well, leaving my skin feel deeply cleansed and ultra-soft!  They are also currently on offer at Boots!  I also decided to give the Superdrug masks a try as they were also on offer for 4 for 3!  I can’t wait to try these out!

I hope you enjoyed my MAHUUUUSIVE beauty haul!  Let me know which products you have tried and loved, and whether you would like any reviews!
