One thing I love about December (besides CHRISTMAS!) is the fact that loads of online shops have great pre-Christmas sales.  So as soon as I found out that ELF Cosmetics were offering 50% off *everything* I took advantage of it, and this happened!

*All prices displayed are the full price as listed on the ELF Cosmetics UK website.

1. 3 Piece Nail Polish Set in ‘Mysterious’, £4

I thought this nail polish set looked so pretty!  It included a metallic purple, charcoal glitter and glittery navy blue polish, and at £1.33 a bottle (at full price), you can’t really go wrong!

2. 32 Piece Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Natural’, £6

I’ve owned ELF Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes in the past and was quite satisfied with the quality.  Whilst you cannot compare these with more high-end brands, such as MAC, the quality is satisfactory and I would definitely recommend these for £6!  This particular palette contains 32 neutral shades, however more bright shades are available in other palettes.

3. Beauty Book in ‘Natural Look’, £6

When I came across this Beauty Book on the website, I instantly thought it would make a great present!  It’s great for anyone starting out with makeup or wishing to experiment with new makeup looks.  The Beauty Book contains 6 eyeshadows for day and night, an eyelid primer, an eyeshadow applicator and a black pencil eyeliner.

4. Eyelid Primer in ‘Sheer’, £1.50

As the Beauty Book was a gift for someone, I thought I would purchase the eyelid primer for myself as I’ve wanted to try out a new one for a while and this was the perfect excuse to try this out.  The ELF Cosmetics UK website offers four different coloured eyelid primers; sheer, champagne, pearl and golden.  I normally tend to go for neutral/transparent shades when it comes to eyelid/eyeshadow primers so I went for ‘sheer’.  I have used it a couple of times so far and I have been very pleased with the results!

5. Baked Blush in ‘Rich Rose’, £3.75

I had heard loads of great things about ELF Cosmetics’ baked products, such as their eyeshadows and blush!  So, I took this opportunity to try one out for myself!  ‘Rich Rose’ is a *gorgeous* natural colour, which suits my pale complexion very nicely and looks lovely in the winter months.  It is a medium-rose shade (great description, I know!) which looks glowy on application.  I will be posting a review for this blush (including swatches) in the coming weeks, and as you can probably tell, it will be a very positive review!

That’s all I got on my ELF Cosmetics haul!

The website is currently offering up to 70% off on their sale items, which you can view here!  I would definitely recommend ELF products as they are so affordable and great quality too!
