Today I’ll be reviewing a blush from ELF Cosmetics’ ‘Baked Blush’ range in the colour ‘Rich Rose’.
I bought this on my recent ELF Cosmetics haul, which you can view here.
I had heard lots of great stuff about ELF Cosmetics’ baked products, especially about their gorgeous baked eyeshadows (which you can take a look at here). However, since I have recently purchased quite a few eyeshadows, I thought I would give their Baked Blush a try!
ELF Cosmetics Baked Blush costs £3.75 (BARGAIN!) and is available in four colours; Peachy Cheeky, Pinktastic, Passion Pink & Rich Rose, which is the colour I opted for.
Rich Rose is a hard to describe colour! The best way I could describe it is a peachy, slightly brown-toned blush with tiny golden shimmer throughout, and in the pan it’s got shocking pink threads (best word I can think of!), which make it look so interesting. In other words, it’s absolutely lovely. I love using Sleek Blush in ‘Rose Gold’ throughout the summer (which I reviewed here), however I found it is a bit too bright for the winter months. On the other hand, Rich Rose is perfect.
It’s VERY hard to photograph this blush!
Once applied to my cheeks, Rich Rose compliments my fair skin amazingly well. It creates a very natural, slightly flushed look and it also adds a bit of a golden glow. Gorgeous. I wore this blush in my recent ‘Neutral Eye Makeup | Drugstore Edition’ post.
I find that this blush is highly pigmented, and applies very nicely with the Real Techniques Powder Blush for a lovely natural finish. Lasting power is also great. I find that this lasts for most of the day, especially with some powder applied on top to set the blush in place. And finally, I’ve had some lovely compliments whilst wearing the blush, which makes me love it even more!
Have you tried any of ELF Cosmetics’ baked products?
